  • Patent number: 9009595
Abstract: A process for dividing an electronic screen, such as a television or computer screen, into discrete, independently operating sub-screens includes the step of electronically linking the screen to a screen operating system. This operating system is capable of selectively dividing the screen into two or more sub-screens which support audio or visual data in an active mode simultaneously and independently. This is performed through the use of a plurality of data access lines which provide data simultaneously to the two or more sub-screens such that the data can be simultaneously accessed and manipulated in more than one sub-screen such that each sub-screen actively supports data generated from a dedicated software program. Such invention may be implemented in customized encoded hardware or a combination of hardware and software.

  • Publication number: 20140289213
Abstract: A search system includes a server receiving content from one or more content sources. The server is in electronic communication with a user computer over a network and receives search criteria from the user computer to conduct a search of the content. A cloud generator executing on a computer readable medium generates a term cloud for display on the user computer, the term cloud having terms identified using search results from the search of the content, the terms each having a plurality of cloud actions associated therewith. The cloud generator receives one or more selected cloud actions from the user computer and updates the search results using the one or more selected cloud actions.

  • Publication number: 20140075322
Abstract: A web application server architecture has an interactive scripting language, development environment and operating-system-like services embedded. The architecture includes a server engine installed in an operating system of a computing device, and a server shell installed in the server engine. The server shell includes a resource management layer for configuring and naming resources and providing an interface to the resources; a shell services layer for providing application script development tools, a scripting language layer providing a programming language for creating web applications and for accessing external data, and a components layer for providing predefined functionality. The architecture also includes a user interface for developing and controlling an application, including a command prompt section for receiving a command entered by a user; a resource explorer section for facilitating viewing, searching, and operating on the resources; and an editing section for facilitating editing of data.

  • Patent number: 5359699
Abstract: An artificial neural network detects points in feature space outside of a boundary determined by a set of sample data. The network is trained using pseudo data which compensates for the lack of original data representing "abnormal" or novel combinations of features. The training process is done iteratively using a net bias parameter to close the boundary around the sample data. When the neural net stabilizes, the training process is complete. Pseudo data is chosen using several disclosed methods.

  • Patent number: 5159598
Abstract: An auxiliary monolithic integrated circuit chip provides both buffer amplification and testing interfaces. Off-the-shelf monolithic integrated circuit chips can be connected into an electronics system using one of these auxiliary buffer chips before each input port and after each output port, to implement functional testing similar to that done on monolithic integrated circuit chips with built-in test circuitry.

  • Patent number: 5119378
Abstract: Built-in test circuitry, which is appropriate for monolithic integrated circuit chips that are to be connected in a plural-chip package, uses electronic token passing to select one of the test input ports in the circuitry to be tested for application of test input vectors. The built-in test circuitry also uses electronic token passing to select one of the test output ports in the circuitry to be tested from which test results are to be supplied. Methods for testing based on these token passing procedures are described.
