Abstract: A specimen collection container includes inner and outer tubes. The inner tube includes a bottom end, a top end, and a sidewall extending therebetween defining an interior. The sidewall includes an inner surface and an outer surface having at least one annular protrusion extending therefrom. The inner tube includes at least one funnel portion adjacent the top end for directing a specimen into the inner tube interior, and an annular ring disposed about a portion of the outer surface of the sidewall adjacent the top end. The outer tube includes a bottom end, a top end, and a sidewall extending therebetween, the sidewall having an outer surface and an inner surface defining an annular recess adapted to receive a portion of the annular protrusion therein. The inner tube is disposed within the outer tube and a portion of the top end of the outer tube abuts the annular ring.

Abstract: Configurable and self-optimizing business process applications can be used in conjunction with features of a content management system, for example including generating and providing guidance relating to a decision or action point within a workflow instance, allowing a user to invoke an exception that includes a deviation from a set of actions defined by the business process application, saving a modified version of the business process application in the content management repository, and monitoring performance metrics of the business process application and the modified business process application when used by additional users in additional workflow instances. Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture are described.

Abstract: Hybrid, configurable business process applications can be used in conjunction with features of a content management system. For example, a first content management system installation executes a workflow instance based on a business process application whose definition is maintained in by the first content management system installation and synchronizes a workflow state of the workflow instance to a second content management system installation using a mirrored workflow state in which both content of the workflow state and metadata characterizing parameters of the workflow state are mirrored from the first content management system repository to the second content management system repository such that a content item retained in the second content management system repository is accessed for use in the workflow instance via the mirrored workflow state at the second content management system repository. Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture are described.

The system includes providing a specimen collection container having an open top end, a closed bottom end, and a sidewall extending therebetween forming an interior adapted for receiving a specimen therein. The specimen collection container also includes a label having a label body disposed over at least a portion of the sidewall, in visual alignment with a colored background. At least one of the sidewall of the specimen collection container and the label body have printing disposed thereon having a color that is substantially identical to the colored background against which the specimen collection container will be viewed. At least one of the sidewall of the specimen collection container and the label body may have colorless indicia having a surface enhancement feature for providing visual distinction.

Abstract: A workflow executed by an on-premise installation of the content management system can include a cloud workflow and an on-premise workflow relating to on-premise content retained in an on-premise repository managed by the on-premise installation of the content management system. A synchronization can be initiated between the on-premise content and a cloud copy of the on-premise content to reflect a change to either of the on-premise content or the cloud copy in the other of the on-premise content and the cloud copy. The cloud copy can exist at a location managed by a cloud-based installation of the content management system. Upon detection that the cloud workflow has been completed by the location using the cloud copy, a resumption of the on-premise workflow can be triggered using the synchronization between the on-premise content and the cloud copy of the on-premise content. Abstract: A control means for a pixel display, for displaying pixel images provided as rows of data to a row driver, includes a shift register for transposing each row of data so that it is written to the row driver in a manner that causes each pixel of the row of data to be translated by a number of pixels distance across the screen, and also includes a fill data means for writing a blank signal to the pixels which the row of data would be written too had it not been translated. A second fill data means is included for writing a blank signal to the pixels on the opposite side of the row of data to the blank pixels written by the first fill data means. The amount which the shift register transposes the rows of data may be varied.

Abstract: A stain inhibitor, which acts to neutralise the alkali leached to the surface of a sheet of glass in the presence of water, is disclosed. The stain inhibitor comprises a compound that reacts with the water to produce an acid. The acid acts to neutralise the alkali leached to the surface of the glass. Preferably, the compound hydrolyses to produce the acid, and is an ester.

Abstract: A method of adjusting a signal for a digital display where the input signal includes a number of discrete input intensity values which causes the display to give actual output signals having discrete output intensity values, and where the relationship between the input signal to actual output signal departs from a desired input signal to output signal relationship, comprises the steps of (i) considering at least a first input value and a first actual output value for the first input value, (ii) finding a second input value and a second actual output value for the second input value where the second actual output value is closer to the desired value for the first input value, (iii) recording a relationship between the first input value and the second input value, and finally (iv) substituting the second input value for the first input value in the signal. The method may be carried out for all input values.
