  • Publication number: 20160243479
Abstract: A pre-cleaner tube assembly includes an inlet tube having an inlet tube wall surrounding an interior volume and first and second open, opposite ends. A vane arrangement is oriented within the inlet tube wall adjacent to the first open end. The inlet tube wall defines a slot adjacent to the second open end. An outlet tube has an outlet tube wall surrounding an interior volume, an open entrance end, and an opposite open exit end. The outlet tube wall has an exterior and an interior. The exterior of the outlet tube wall has a ramp extending upward as the ramp extends from a region adjacent to the entrance end toward a remaining portion of the outlet tube wall. The outlet tube is oriented in the inlet tube wall interior volume such that the entrance end and over 50% of a length of the outlet wall is within the inlet tube wall interior volume.
