  • Publication number: 20100299167
Abstract: A technology enterprise management apparatus comprises a processing resource (112, 114, 116, 118) arranged to support a stage and gateway process (400) having a plurality of stages (406, 412, 418, 424, 430, 436) and a plurality of gateways (402, 408, 414, 420, 426, 432, 438) interlaced with the plurality of stages. The processing resource also supports a plurality of stage engineering module structures (600) respectively associated with the plurality of stages, each of the stage engineering module structures (600) supporting, at least in part, a function (422, 444, 446, 448, 450, 452) associated with the stage and gateway process. A database (110) is accessible by the processing resource (118) and arranged to permit storage of data at least relating to the function.

  • Publication number: 20020196636
Abstract: A headlamp system stores a plurality of beam patterns on a microprocessor 32 that selects a predetermined beam pattern based on driving conditions and sends the predetermined beam pattern to a digital micromirror device (DMD) 18 that is capable of generating the desired beam pattern by adjusting the position of individual pixels on the DMD 18. Several vehicle parameters are inputs 36, 37, 38, 29, 70 to the microcontroller 32 and are used to determine the appropriate beam pattern to be produced by the DMD 18 and projected by the headlamp system of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 5497271
Abstract: A head up display system for a motor vehicle includes a sensor, display means for forming a video image from the signals received from the sensor and a projection system for projecting the video image onto the windscreen of the vehicle, the projection system including a mirror for deflecting the optical path of the projected image, said mirror being located directly in front of a driver of the vehicle at a level outside the normal field of view of the driver through the windscreen, the mirror being arranged; in a head up display mode, to direct the projected image onto the windscreen; and in a non-head up display mode, to permit direct viewing of the video image at a level outside the normal field of view of the driver through the windscreen.
