  • Publication number: 20200270029
Abstract: A container lid assembly outfits a container includes a lower lid construction and a slider element. The slider element is received in the lower lid construction and is linearly displaceable in a back and forth manner relative to the lower lid construction for opening and closing the container lid. The lower lid construction includes concave surfacing and the slider element includes convex surfacing. The slider element seats atop the lower lid construction such that the convex surfacing and concave surfacing form a spherical surface-to-surface seal and enabling slidable open-close functionality. The slider element is resiliently actuable when seated atop the lower lid construction for enhancing seated engagement therebetween. The slider element includes a step-down formation cooperable with resilient actuation thereof for further enhancing seated engagement between the slider element and the lower lid construction. The container lid further locks to the container when in an actuated lower lid configuration.

  • Publication number: 20200186374
Abstract: A stateless queue system implements and supports a virtual room containing a content playback queue. The system allows multiple clients to listen to queued content in a synchronized manner and to modify the same queue without requiring a broadcasting client to send playback events. The system includes a multiplicity of computing clients that can add content items to the queue by interacting with an application service. The clients are enabled to add content to the queue in a number of ways, including by simple add-on to the bottom of the queue, by vote, or by direct modification of the queue structure. Upon client entrance into the playback session, data is provided to the client that represent the queue order at the time of request, the number of votes each items contains if structure is determined by vote, the start time for each queued item, and the current playing item.

  • Patent number: 10565662
Abstract: Smart routing synchronization systems socialize a synthetic rebroadcast or group stream for enabling members of a user group to (re)broadcast select content to other members of the user group and collaboratively curate content delivery. The systems are based on a content-identification process and further a process for (re)broadcasting content. These processes are cooperable among a group of member clients each of which are in communication with at least two content sources. The synchronization process identifies select content and directs delivery of the content from an optimal resource for each member client via a smart routing protocol. The (re)broadcast process prompts delivery of the select content to members of the user group from a content origination member of the group, and group members are thereby able to simultaneously access the content for the purpose of providing a content-based platform for social interaction.

  • Publication number: 20190320839
Abstract: A beverage service system, assembly, and method enable a consumer to portably consume a beverage output from a single-service beverage media container. The beverage service system incorporates a lid formation and a liquid container. The lid formation is configured to receive and retain a single-service beverage media container, and provides a primary beverage outlet, a container-receiving aperture, and a container retention mechanism. The single-service beverage media container is received in the container-receiving aperture and retained by the container retention mechanism. The lid formation is attached to the primary liquid container thereby forming a lid-container combination. A liquid such as hot water may be directed through the single-service beverage media container as received and retained by the lid formation for outputting beverage therefrom into the liquid container.

  • Publication number: 20190267042
Abstract: A system and method are operable within a computer network environment for compiling a singular video file from user-generated video file fragments for playback in tandem with a context-providing audio file. The system includes at least one client operable to generate at least one video file fragment in tandem with audio file content simultaneously consumable via each client. Each video file fragment is generated at or between a select start time and at a select end time during playback of a select audio file content segment, the parent audio file of which segment has a universally unique identifier. A remote service system compiles the video file fragments into a video file fragment compilation for playback progression in tandem with playback of the audio file content based on the select start and end time of the video file fragments as associated with select audio file content segments of the audio file.

  • Publication number: 20190261795
Abstract: A liquid container orifice assembly, lid assembly, and unibody lid construction enable a user to outfit particularized liquid containers for enabling lid-based liquid-pooling or compartmentalization and heat transfer from lid-pooled or lid-compartmentalized liquid prior to liquid egression from a lid-outfitted liquid container prior to liquid consumption. All embodiments provide liquid re-directing or damming structures that operate to control the delivery of hot liquid for promoting heat loss from re-directed liquid flows. Certain structures cooperate with existing art to minimize leakage problems associated therewith. Other structures operate to particularly shape parceled liquid volumes for effecting rapid heat transfers therefrom. Still other structures harness material-philic properties of liquids for further effecting rapid heat transfers and liquid directional control mechanisms. Combinations of the various structural features here noted are also contemplated throughout the following specifications.

  • Publication number: 20190185225
Abstract: A lid assembly outfits a liquid container and may function to position a liquid-permeable container relative to the liquid container. The lid assembly may include a lid body having a rim-receiving groove, an object-supportive depression, and a primary liquid-letting aperture. The primary liquid-letting aperture primarily enables liquid egression from the liquid container. The object-supportive depression supports objects and defines a tertiary liquid-letting aperture for outletting liquid into the liquid container. A lid body insert may be received and supported by the lid body in superior adjacency to the object-supportive depression and has a secondary liquid-letting aperture and an insert axis. The lid body insert is rotatable about the insert axis intermediate open and closed lid positions such that the secondary liquid-letting aperture is rotatably positionable either in superior or lateral adjacency to the primary liquid-letting aperture for selectively opening and closing the lid assembly.
