  • Patent number: 11361132
Abstract: A system and method for using weather applied metrics for determining the impact of weather conditions on the flight of a ball at an outdoor sports venue. Historical and current data for weather parameters, including wind, air pressure, humidity, temperature, and precipitation, are obtained to calculate the influence of each parameter on the flight of a ball. The influences of each of the parameters are summed to model the flight of the ball based on the current weather conditions. Weather instruments, such as weather sensors, anemometers, LiDAR and SODAR devices, weather consoles, data routing devices, and processors can be included in a system for using weather applied metrics to predict the flight of a ball based on current weather conditions.

  • Publication number: 20200250316
Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for automatically generating information about risks associated with browser extensions used by browsers in an enterprise network for purposes of determining whether to whitelist a browser extension in response to a request from a user. A request to install a browser extension is obtained from a user device of a plurality of user devices associated with an organization, wherein the request comprises an extension identifier for the browser extension. A risk score is generated for the browser extension based on risk values for each of one or more permissions requested by the browser extension. The risk score is compared to a threshold value to determine whether the browser extension satisfies risk standards of the organization, and if so, the browser extension is automatically added to a whitelist of permitted extensions for future installation on the plurality of user devices.

  • Patent number: 10512856
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for extracting one or more chemical extracts from a plant product. The chemical extracts are purified and extracted by first separating at least a phytochemical bearing part of a plant product from one or more other portions of the plant product. A carrier oil is then heated at a target temperature to be used as the vehicle for extraction and then mixed with the at least a phytochemical bearing part while the target temperature is maintained. The process may be streamlined by having heating and mixing occur in a press device. The mixed carrier oil and the at least a phytochemical bearing part are then passed through the press device to produce an oil mixture. At least a chemical extract may be extracted from the oil mixture, and in some cases may be further purified by evaporation and/or centrifugation.

  • Patent number: 10268513
Abstract: A computing system may be configured to implement a plurality of agents each associated with a predetermined number of CPU cores and a predetermined amount of memory and to receive requests to perform tasks. A request may specify the number of CPU cores and amount of memory for performing the task. Allocation of resources may include determining multiple allocation profiles, each describing a possible allocation of cores and memory to the task from currently available CPU cores and memory associated with the agents. For each agent and for each of said allocation profiles, respective efficiency measures for memory usage and CPU usage may be calculated. An allocation profile may be selected using said calculated memory usage and CPU usage efficiency measures.
