    Abstract: Particles using a polymer having a particle size suitable for a drug delivery system (DDS) or the like are provided. A drug and an anti-cancer agent using the particles are provided. Each of the particles comprises a polymer having a structure unit derived from a saccharide compound having a hydroxyl group and having an inclusion property and a structure unit derived from a monomer having a functional group to be reacted with a hydroxyl group, and has the average hydrodynamic radius (Rhav) of 5 to 100 nm. A method for producing the particles comprises a step of mixing a mixed composition comprising a saccharide compound, a monomer, a surfactant, and an alkaline aqueous solution having a pH of 12 or more. A drug compress a hydrophobic physiological active agent, such as ?-mangostin contained in the particle, and an anti-cancer agent comprising the drug.

The body may include an elastomeric, light-permeable outer layer through which light from the display passes. The body may have a first side having the lens and on which the display displays the graphics. The camera may include a second display on a second side of the body facing opposite the first side.

In embodiments, the method comprises obtaining an original set of data having a sequential order and multiple original dimensions; selecting a topic-based summarization scheme to summarize the original set of data; and applying the selected topic-based summarization scheme to the original set of data to transform the original set of data into a new set of data having fewer dimensions than the original set of data, while preserving, within a defined measure, the sequential order of the original set of data. In embodiments, the selecting a topic-based summarization scheme includes selecting a plurality of topics, each of the topic representing a set of the original dimensions. In embodiments, the applying the topic-based summarization scheme includes performing dimensionality reduction on the original set of data to transform the original dimensions to the topics.

    Abstract: A specimen collection, storage, transport, and testing device can include an outer vessel containing an internal cup having an openable drain having a brim raised above the bottom floor of the cup. Once opened the drain allows a portion of liquid specimen to flow from the cup into a lower chamber of the vessel containing a number of chromatographic assay strips. A lid sealing the vessel can include a downwardly projecting guide tube having first barrier sealing a bottom aperture. An oblong initiator can axially engage the guide tube, break the first barrier and open the drain to initiate the test while retaining a pool of liquid specimen in the cup for subsequent confirmatory testing.
