In addition, a locking member is configured such that, in a first position, the locking member allows actuation of the pump and, in a second position, the locking member prevents actuation of the pump. In a disclosed example, in the second position the tube abuts against a portion of the locking member to prevent actuation of the pump.

A distribution device is mounted on top of the containers and includes a distribution nozzle fitted with at least one distribution orifice. The distribution device further includes a movable actuator element to provoke the simultaneous distribution of two products in a mixed or separate state. Further, an intermediate body is separate from the actuator element and includes two skirts. The intermediate body is able to engage respectively on the two actuator rods of the containers, and at least one inner channel allows the flow of products towards the distribution nozzle. The actuator element and the intermediate body are arranged to co-operate on operation of the actuator element so as to allow the passage of products from the recipients to the distribution nozzle via the inner channel.

Abstract: A product packaging and dispensing assembly includes one or more containers containing a product. The assembly includes a dispensing device which is movable relative to the container in a swiveling or rocking motion to actuate an actuator rod of the container. In addition, an arrangement is provided which limits displacement of the dispensing device to prevent or minimize movement of the dispensing device in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the actuator rod, and also to limit swiveling movement in a direction opposite to that utilized for actuation of the actuator rod.

Abstract: An assembly for packaging and a dispensing a product includes at least one container containing a product, with the container including an actuation rod. A dispensing device is provided which can actuate the actuation rod in order to dispense the product through a dispensing aperture. Advantageously, the dispensing device is positionable in at least two different positions, including: (1) a use position in which the actuation device can rock or tilt the actuation rod to dispense the product, but in which the dispensing device does not move the actuation rod along its longitudinal axis, and (2) an intermediate position in which the dispensing device is not in fluid communication with the actuation rod. The arrangement can advantageously avoid dispensing of the product or products when such dispensing is not desired.

Movement of the closure element to the stowed position involves a force exerted by the closure element on the head, axially to the conduit, in the direction toward the dispensing element.

Depressing the actuator causes the fluid-conducting member to actuate the stems and initiate dispensing of the contents into a single passage or two separate passages of the fluid-conducting member. The fluid-conducting member is movable within the housing for accommodating mismatch in heights of the stems. The actuator includes a single internal channel or two separate channels for receiving the container contents from the fluid-conducting member.
