Abstract: There is disclosed a control device including (i) a support (4, 4.1), (ii) an electronic module (6, 60) arranged in or on the support, (iii) a push-button (2.1 to 2.5) mounted to be mobile on the support so as to have a travel in translation along an axis of actuation, (iv) a first contact element (210) including a mobile part (211) placed on the axis of actuation so as to be actuated by the push-button, and (v) a second contact element (220) with which the mobile part of the first contact element can be brought into contact in order to establish an electric connection between the two contact elements, the electronic module including at least one contact pad (610, 620) in electric contact with the first or second contact element, the other contact element having a determined electric potential. The first and second contact elements are respectively formed of a first metal contact strip (210) and a second metal contact strip (220) both carried directly by said support (4, 4.1).

Abstract: The electronic timepiece (10) includes a case (12) that contains at least one first and one second electronic module (14, 16) powered by a battery (18). The case (12) is formed by a middle part (20), which is closed by a protective crystal (22) placed above a display device (24) and by a cover (26) added to the case (12). The case (12) includes an added partition (32), which is secured to the middle part (20) and which delimits a top compartment (34) containing the first electronic module (14) and a bottom compartment (36) containing the second electronic module (16). The battery (18) is arranged in a complementary housing arranged in the bottom face (40) of the partition (32). A method of assembling the timepiece (10) is also provided.

The lateral wall (15) comprises a cavity between first and second portions of the lateral wall. An opening through which the flange passes is formed in each lateral wall portion.

Abstract: The portable instrument with a wristband (4) includes an electronic circuit and a rechargeable power source for supplying the electronic circuit with electricity. The wristband includes two electric contact portions (10,11) arranged on a same strand (4) of the wristband and conductive paths (8, 9) connecting the power source. The two electric contact portions (10, 11) are intended to be placed on two complementary conductive portions of an electric charger to allow the power source to be recharged. A loop (12) can be brought into a blocking position above the contact portions (10, 11) to cover and protect them.

The present invention provides means (8, 27) for introducing the connecting means (11) inside the case (20), and means (36, 44) for establishing the electrical connection between said connecting means (11) and bump contacts (33) of the first electric module (32), via compression, when the two portions (23, 24) of the case (20) are mounted.

Abstract: The alarm arrangement is among those in which an alarm is released by the coincidence of a first contact point coupled to the going train of the timepiece with a second contact point coupled to an index the position of which may be regulated by a manual control element. In this arrangement the second contact point (68) is coupled to a member (60) fixed to a rotating shaft (58) on which are pivoted wheel sets (76, 92) of the going train which bear time indicating hands (82, 100). In a very simple case the member fixed to the rotating shaft is adjacent the timepiece hour wheel (80) and the contact points (68, 90) are borne by these two elements on their faces and facing one another. On the other hand the manual control element may be advantageously formed by the glass (16) of the timepiece which is then coupled to one of the ends of the rotating shaft and a rotatable bezel (22) to which the glass is fastened.

Abstract: The miniature electric clock includes a base plate (28) bearing a motor (11), a going train (21) and time displaying hands (82,100), and a back cover-caseband (10) bearing electrical and electronic elements (7,9) resting on a printed circuit (3) itself fastened to the back cover-caseband. Electrical couplings (15,17) between the motor and the printed circuit are established when the back cover-caseband is united with the base plate. If the clock includes an alarm arrangement other electrical couplings (129,127) are likewise established between the alarm mechanism (66, 88) and the printed circuit when the back cover-caseband is united with the base plate.

Abstract: A miniature table clock is provided with a case having rounded contours. The back (16) of such case exhibits a protruding zone and a flattened surface proximate said zone at the mid portion of its lower half. The clock has two positions of stable equilibrium; a first in which the dial (18) is parallel to the clock support plane and facing thereto and a second in which the clock, appropriately ballasted, rests at a point of the protruding zone adjacent the flattened surface.

Abstract: The timepiece comprises a movement (1) that rotatably drives at least an hours-hand before a dial (5). The dial (5) is formed with at least one display aperture (g1). Signs (s1, s2), which respectively represents the numbers of the hours shown by the hours-hand when the latter is in the same angular position as the display aperture (g1) a.m. and p.m., are arranged on a disc (6) which is located beneath the dial (5) and which is driven by a mechanism (7) that is connected to the movement (1). This mechanism (7) is so designed that the first and second signs (s1, s2) appear in the display aperture (g1), one a.m. (ante meridiem), the other p.m. (post meridiem). To simplify its construction, the mechanism (7) is so designed that the disc (6) will always be rotated in the same direction.
