Publication number: 20220234670Abstract: An attachment system for attaching a storage container to a vehicle includes a passive attachment device for securing the storage container to the vehicle. The passive attachment device automatically secures the storage container to the vehicle when the storage container is positioned in place on the vehicle. The attachment system also includes an active attachment device manually operable by a user to selectively lock the storage container in place on the vehicle when the storage container is secured to the vehicle via the passive attachment device. The active attachment device prevents motion of the storage container relative to the vehicle when the active attachment device is engaged so as to lock the storage container in place on the vehicle. A vehicle including the storage container and the attachment system is also provided. A storage container assembly including the storage container and passive and active attachment devices is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2020Publication date: July 28, 2022Inventors: Bruno CYR, Pierre LACASSE-JOBIN

Patent number: 10828319Abstract: A method of preventing intramammary infection and accelerating involution by administration of a biological response modifier, specifically a chitosan solution, to the teat of a lactating mammal at drying-off A chitosan solution neutralized with a weak base such as ?-glycerophosphate can remain liquid at room temperature for injection into a teat, but can form a hydrogel at body temperature inside the teat. The neutralized chitosan solution can also be optionally co-administered with a teat sealant.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2017Date of Patent: November 10, 2020Assignee: HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN IN RIGHT OF CANADA, AS REPRESENTED BY THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND AGRI-FOODInventors: Pierre Lacasse, Samuel Lanctôt, Patrick Fustier, André Bégin, Ali R. Patent number: 10336387Abstract: A vehicle includes a frame, a passenger presence sensor mounted thereto, and a seat assembly removably connected to. The seat assembly includes a driver seat disposed on the frame and a passenger seat disposed on the frame rearward of the 5 driver seat, at least the passenger seat being selectively disposed on the frame. A rigid passenger presence responsive member (PPRM) is retained in the passenger seat and movable with respect to the frame between at least a first position and a second position responsive to a weight of a passenger seated on the passenger seat. The PPRM is coupled to the passenger presence sensor in at least one of the first and 10 second positions, the passenger presence sensor is thereby configured to detect a presence of the passenger. Removable passenger seats for a vehicle are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2015Date of Patent: July 2, 2019Assignee: BOMBARDIER RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS INC.Inventors: Pierre Lacasse-Jobin, Mark Hebert
