    Abstract: A motor driver having a motor abnormality detection mechanism is provided. A motor position detecting circuit detects a change in a state of a rotor of the motor switching between a plurality of magnetic pole positions to output a commutation signal. An abnormality determining circuit, according the commutation signal, determines a plurality of time intervals during which the rotor of the motor is switched to the plurality of magnetic pole positions respectively to output an abnormality detected signal. A rotational protection controller circuit outputs a rotation protecting signal to a motor driving circuit according to the abnormality detected signal. A motor driving circuit drives the motor according to the rotation protecting signal. When the abnormality detected signal received by the rotational protection controller circuit indicates that the motor abnormally rotates, the rotational protection controller circuit adjusts the rotation protecting signal outputted to the motor driving circuit.

    Abstract: A motor driver using a motor magnetic pole reference controlling mechanism is provided. A motor position detecting circuit detects a rotor of a motor to determine a plurality of magnetic pole positions to which the rotor of the motor is switched respectively during a plurality of time intervals. A reference magnetic pole switching circuit selects one of the plurality of time intervals according to a change in rotational speed of the motor over time. The reference magnetic pole switching circuit uses the magnetic pole position to which the rotor of the motor is switched during the one of the plurality of time intervals as magnetic pole reference data. A motor driving circuit drives the motor according to the magnetic pole reference data from the reference magnetic pole switching circuit.

    Abstract: A drug for antagonizing the replication of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) and an application thereof. By using a viral infection test, a drug which antagonizes PRRSV—xanthohumol—is discovered for the first time from among a natural drug library of 386 plant sources. Xanthohumol can effectively inhibit PRRSV replication on both Marc-145 and PAM cells. Five xanthohumol derivatives having different molecular structures are artificially synthesized, and it is discovered that a derivative Xn-4 has the strongest inhibitory effect on virus replication in vitro. Test results of artificial infection and drug therapy in piglets show that the Xn-4 can effectively inhibit PRRSV viremia, relieve clinical symptoms of infected pigs, and significantly reduce lung inflammation and pathological damage.

    Abstract: Citric acid is purified to remove metal ions through a two-step filtration process. A first filter is used to perform a first filtration, then a second filter is used to perform a second filtration on citric acid solution that has been subject to the first filtration. The first and second filters can include the same filter membrane material. The filter used as the first filter can be a relatively dirtier, more loaded filter compared to the filter used as the second filter. The first filtration can be performed over four hours of recirculating the citric acid solution through the first filter, and the second filtration can be performed over approximately two and one half hours of recirculating the citric acid solution through the second filter. Such a purification process can remove calcium and magnesium ions to render citric acid suitable as a cleaning solution in semiconductor processing.
