  • Publication number: 20240262874
Abstract: The present disclosure presents a solution to producing a sweet protein or a variant thereof having low or no calorie. By using recombinant gene and plant transformation techniques, non-native genes encoding a sweet protein are included in the propagatable genome of a plant, thereby forming a genetically modified plant, wherein the plant by the native genome thereof prior to modification may not produce the sweet protein naturally. Such genetically modified plant and a progeny thereof are enabled to produce non-native sweet protein and/or a variant thereof. Sweeteners, compositions, and consumables derived from the genetically modified plant are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240264741
Abstract: In some examples, a virtual conferencing platform establishes a virtual conference among a host client and multiple devices. During the virtual conference, the virtual conferencing platform receives a start-triggering signal from the host device to start an interactive session and generates an interactive component for the interactive session in response to receiving the start-triggering signal. The interactive component comprises a UI element presenting a combination of interaction options, and multiple responses. The virtual conferencing platform causes the UI element presenting the combination of interaction options to be displayed in respective participant UIs of the virtual conference on the multiple devices and receives the multiple responses from the multiple devices. The virtual conferencing platform then receives an end-triggering signal and deactivates the interactive component in the respective UIs of the virtual conference on the multiple devices in response to receiving the end-triggering signal.

  • Publication number: 20240266055
Abstract: Presented are systems and methods for the accurate acquisition of medical measurement data of a body part of patient. To assist in acquiring accurate medical measurement data, an automated diagnostic and treatment system provides instructions to the patient to allow the patient to precisely position a medical instrument in proximity to a target spot of a body part of patient. For a stethoscope examination, the steps may include utilizing object tracking to determine if the patient has moved the stethoscope to a recording site; utilizing DSP processing to confirm that the stethoscope is in operation, utilizing DSP processing to generate a pre-processed audio sample from a recorded audio signal; using machine learning (ML) to determine if a signal of interest (SOI) is present in the pre-processed sample. If SoI is present, using ML to evaluate characteristics in the signal which indicate the presence of abnormalities in the organ being measured.

  • Patent number: 12055986
Abstract: A processor unit module comprises an integrated circuit component attached to a top side of a printed circuit board and one or more electronic components (e.g., voltage regulator FETs, inductors) attached to a bottom side of the board. The printed circuit board is located between a top stiffener plate and a bottom stiffener frame and the three components are secured together by fasteners that connect the top stiffener plate to the bottom stiffener frame. Flexible thermal straps connect the top stiffener plate to one or more slugs located between the printed circuit board and the bottom stiffener frame. The slugs touch the bottom side of the board and are held in place by the bottom stiffener frame. Heat generated by the bottom side components is transported by the slugs and the thermal straps to a thermal management solution (e.g., heat sink, cold plate) attached to the top side of the module.

  • Publication number: 20240258805
Abstract: The present document describes techniques for safe battery charging during high ambient temperatures. These techniques extend device runtime during peak use periods when ambient temperature is high by increasing the possibility for battery charging during high ambient temperature conditions. In an example, a device, during high ambient temperatures, checks future ambient temperatures over a network to identify if the minimum future ambient temperature over a block of time within the next N number of days is predicted to be sufficiently low that, when combined with device-performance throttling, is estimated to reduce the temperature of the battery to below the maximum charge temperature to enable the battery to be safely charged. The device can also use the future ambient temperatures to budget current battery usage by implementing and/or adjusting device-performance throttling.
