    Abstract: The disclosed flexible facial interface assemblies for head-mounted display systems may include a rigid support frame element and a flexible facial interface frame element. The rigid support frame element may be shaped and configured to physically support a display of a head-mounted display system in front of a user's eyes when the facial interface assembly is worn by the user. The flexible facial interface frame element may be configured to flex to conform to the user's facial features when the facial interface assembly is worn by the user. An outer periphery of the flexible facial interface frame element may be independently movable relative to an outer periphery of the rigid support frame element. Various other systems and methods are also disclosed.

The headset can also include a rear head-engaging structure coupled the external frame. In some examples, the rear head-engaging structure can include a tensioning mechanism to adjust the headset to fit various head shapes. Additionally, the headset can include a flexible strap coupled to the front head-engaging structure and the tensioning mechanism. In some examples, applying tension to the flexible strap by the tensioning mechanism can cause the front head-engaging structure to rotate along the pivot point, providing a secure fit.

    Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for color tuning optical modules and executing color calibration methods on artificial reality systems and devices. Embodiments can include a lens with a colored coating, a plurality of cameras, including a visible spectrum camera and an infrared camera, each positioned behind the lens, and a processor and memory. The colored coating includes a plurality of regions for selectively transmitting light. The processor and memory can be configured to receive light information indicative of environmental information for executing an operation on the device, identify wavelengths of light reflected by the color profile in front of each camera, determine a color calibration to amplify wavelengths of reflected light, update the environmental information based on the color calibration, and execute the operation on the device.
