The bag body (10) includes a tubular barrel portion (20), and a bottom portion (22) which is attached to block an opening end of a lower part of the barrel portion (20). The spout (12) includes a tubular nozzle portion (14), and a flange portion (16) which projects from an outer surface of the nozzle portion (14). An upper end part (21) of the tubular barrel portion (20) over an entire circumference is liquid-tightly adhered to an upper surface (16e) of the flange portion (16) in a state of following a shape of the flange portion (16) in plan view to be in the same shape.

The bag is formed as gusset-type packaging bag, to which a fastener for freely opening or closing the packaging bag is attached. The fastener has a male portion to which a projected thread is formed and a female portion to which a groove is formed so as to be engaged with the projected thread. Base portions of the male and female portions are attached to an inner surface of one of the flat surface portions or side surface portions so that the projected thread and the groove face each other. A cut-tape for separating the flat surface portion into the male portion side and the female portion side is provided between the base portions.

The fastening device includes a male fastening member and a female fastening member. The male fastening member is disposed on one side of the heat-sealed butt seam of the packaging bag, and the female fastening member is disposed on the other side of the heat-sealed butt seam of the packaging bag so as to be engage with the male fastening member, and a tear-facilitating means is interposed between the male and the female fastening member. The fastener bag is capable of being opened and of being reclosed, and is suitable for use on an automatic filling and packaging machine.

The linear fastener is provided along the opening portion of the main bag body by an insert injection molding so as not to extend to the heat-sealed portions. A method for manufacturing the bag comprises the three steps. First, the first and second linear fastening members are formed on a prescribed position of a sheet of film material by an insert injection molding so as to be spaced from each other. These fastening members are engageable with each other to form a linear fastener. Second, the sheet of film material is folded in two so that the fastening members can engage with each other. Third, each of opposite portions of the sheet of film material thus folded is heat-sealed to form side heat-sealed portions.

The faster bag 1 is formed as gusset-type packaging bag, to which a fastener 10 for freely opening or closing the packaging bag is attached. The fastener 10 is composed of a male portion 11 to which a projected thread 11b is formed and a female portion 12 to which a groove 12b is formed so as to be engaged with the projected thread 11b. Base portions 11a and 12a of both the portions 11 and 12 are attached to an inner surface of one of the flat surface portions 2 or side surface portions 3 so that the projected thread 11b and the groove 12b face each other. A cut-tape 14 for separating the flat surface portion 2 into the male portion side and the female portion side is provided between the base portions 11a and 12a.
