Abstract: Plural chamber hard cap and body type capsules, each comprising two or more cooperational separately formed component capsules, dissimilar in transverse cross section, which are fixed in position relative to each other, having at least one inner component capsule positioned and fixed within an outer capsule; providing thereby plural chamber capsules, each having at least one transparent, clear, or translucent body part chamber to contain medicament or any other desired substance or device, and at least one other transparent, clear, or translucent body part chamber to contain a cooperational ingestible, disintegratable capsule insert device which is externally visible to the sighted user or consumer, providing thereby a tamper-evident capsule.

Abstract: A hard capsule making apparatus consisting of cleft dipping pins, encircling stripping rings, and rotation discs having parallel grooved retainer bars, to provide a means for making and stripping novel integrally formed multiple chamber hard capsules, and a means for making and stripping novel multiple chamber hard capsules made by combining separate hard capsules of different sizes to form a single unit, fixed capsule within a capsule vehicle. The multiple chamber capsules are made of methylcellulose, gel, or other appropriate material, providing a clear, transparent, or translucent exterior wall of the body part of the multiple chamber capsule, thus providing an externally visible means for the consumer or user to detect, before use, whether the capsule has been opened after original filling and closure, by means of contrasting visible evidence of reopening, in the form of changed physical appearance of an original substance, or a substituted substance contained in at least one chamber thereof.

Abstract: An interface between a telephone switch bus line and a dual tone multiple frequency (DTMF) type digital tone decoder is provided which minimizes false tone decoding due to filter-induced transient oscillations caused by spurious impulse noise and the like on the input bus line. The interface includes a limiter circuit for generating a uniform amplitude output pulse train and a circuit for automatically generating a variable threshold which is time responsive to input signals on the input bus line. The variable threshold circuit output signals are used by the limiter circuit to mask transient oscillations in the tone filter output. Only when persistence of the oscillations wherein the limiter threshold level signal is finally less than the peak amplitude of the input signals to the limiter from the tone filter will such input signals be sensed as valid switching tone signals.
