  • Patent number: 7896430
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicle roof with a roof opening (12) and with a roof section (10) having a roof tip (16) pointing to the front of the vehicle (14) and a roof end (18) pointing to the rear of the vehicle (12). The roof section (10) can be moved along guide tracks (23), which run on both sides of the roof opening, out of a closed position, which closes the roof opening (2), into an open position, which at least partially opens up the roof opening. In order to optimize the vehicle roof to the effect that, in the partially open position and/or during the opening movement while under way, only very low travelling noises, if any at all, are produced and the highest requirements with regard to the sealing in the closed position are met, the opening movement from the closed position of the roof section begins with a movement of the roof end (18) into a lowered position below the roof opening (2).

  • Patent number: 4914550
Abstract: A fastening device can be rapidly handled without tools for securing a module of electronic components within a housing. The device brings the module into thermally conductive contact with the housing to assure heat transfer for cooling the module. For this purpose there is proposed a hook-shaped lever which is pivoted on the module and is suspended on the housing. During a swinging movement, the lever moves the module initially parallel to a contact surface and thereupon towards it. The module is additionally supported on an outer support in the housing.

  • Patent number: 4779702
Abstract: An arrangement for the switching of devices in motor vehicles, particularly for the changing of switching thresholds in driving or braking control systems or for the limiting of the steering angle of rear axle steering systems, as a function of snow chains that are in place on at least one wheel or the wheels of one axle that are detected by at least one sensor having an amplifier, an evaluating circuit and a threshold value switch that are connected behind it.

  • Patent number: 4453516
Abstract: A device for controlling the throttle valve of an internal combustion engine accepts input signals representative of vehicle velocity, gearshift position and roadway temperature which by logic means generates a first signal which is employed to modify a second signal received from a desired value generator which is under the control the gas pedal, the signal so modified being employed to control the throttle valve or injection pump position for the internal combustion engine wherein at idling speeds a large change in the accelerator pedal position effects a small change in the throttle valve position which control changes to effect an increasingly degressive transfer characteristic wherein a small change in accelerator pedal position effects a large change in throttle valve position as the vehicle velocity increases to a high velocity.

  • Patent number: 4445603
Abstract: A safety circuit for an electronic throttle control for internal combustion engines, especially for a so-called electronic accelerator system in motor vehicles which include a brake pedal, a set value transmitter coupled to an accelerator, an electronic circuit that acts on a stepping motor, and a clutch interposed between the stepping motor and a throttle actuated by the stepping motor, with the throttle being coupled to an idle return device. The clutch is adapted to be engaged when the accelerator and brake pedal are not simultaneously actuated and when the gas pedal is actuated alone or together with the brake pedal. The clutch is adapted to be disengaged when the brake pedal alone is actuated.
