    Abstract: The present invention provides certain sulfonated copolyetherester compositions containing hydroxyalkanoic acids and processes for producing such sulfonated aromatic copolyetheresters. The invention further provides shaped articles, preferably in the shape of films, coatings and laminates, having improved thermal properties, wherein the shaped articles are produced from the certain sulfonated copolyetherester compositions. Some of these materials are also biocompostable. The sulfonated copolyetheresters are produced from a mixture of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, hydroxyalkanoic acid component, a sulfonate component, a poly(alkylene ether) glycol component, a glycol component, an optional other glycol component, an optional branching agent, and an optional color reducing agent.

    Abstract: A multilevel access platform comprising a plurality of stackable modules. Each module includes elongated column members that are generally parallel and coextensive, and a plurality of levels of elongated lateral members that extend transversely between and are connected to the column members. Each level of the lateral members is located at vertically spaced positions relative to the column members and each of the lateral members border a side of the module. At least one platform section is provided for each level and is supported by one level of the lateral members. The stackable modules include a staircase that extends between each level of the lateral members. The multilevel access platform includes a base assembly provided to stabilize and independently secure the multilevel platform. A method for erecting the multilevel access platform includes the step of stacking each module to meet a desired height of a building construction.

When required, spring energy can therefore be dissipated to actuated the latch or latch mechanism.     Abstract: Methods and systems for magnetically actuating latch components are disclosed herein. A door latch assembly comprising at least one latching mechanism can be provided for maintaining a door in a locked condition or an unlocked condition. One or more electromagnets can be integrated with the door latch assembly, such that the electromagnet generates one or more pulses in the form of electrical energy that can actuate the latching mechanism from a locked condition to an unlocked condition and vice versa. A pulsed electromagnet is therefore utilized such each pulse of energy applied actuates the latching mechanism a known amount. Such a configuration permits the latching mechanism to be accurately indexed from a known position to another.
