Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling fill media in a balloon catheter are disclosed. The system comprises a catheter having an inflatable balloon, a reservoir for fill media, and a first conduit for delivering fill media from the reservoir to the balloon. The system includes a second conduit for returning fill media from the balloon to the reservoir and a pump configured to circulate fill media through the conduits. The system also includes a valve assembly configured for placement in at least three positions. In the first position, fill media is delivered from the reservoir to the balloon to inflate the balloon. In the second position, fill media is drawn out of the balloon and returned to the reservoir. • Publication number: 20200237679
Abstract: This disclosure teaches phospholipid nanoparticle compositions of cannabinoids formed from phospholipids and simpler lipids in an unfired sequential process that encapsulate a high concentration of cannabinoids, and create standardized precision-metered dosage forms of cannabinoids; yielding an increase cannabinoid transport across hydrophobic mucosa; increase the bioavailability of the cannabinoid 2-fold to 8-fold, decrease the dose of cannabinoids 2-fold to 8-fold less than an amount of cannabinoids needed to illicit the same therapeutic effect compared to raw and non-encapsulated cannabinoids; where the nanoparticle dynamic structure reduces the adverse effects of cannabinoids; and enable safe more efficacious cannabinoid therapy.

  • Patent number: 10721349
Abstract: A phone and system is disclosed which includes a programmed button(s) that initiates a telephone call from the phone to a second phone. In some embodiments, the phone may be a toy or instructional equipment configured to provide for example, children a device to learn how to converse over a telephone call with trusted parties. The phone may initiate a phone call request when a programmed button is pressed by connecting with a computing device that has a wireless local area network (LAN) transceiver and a connection to the telephone network (for example, a smartphone, a tablet, or a wearable device). The phone call request may then be re-routed through the telephone network to the second phone being called and communication may occur between the two phones through the intermediary device. Trusted and restricted communication may thus occur between parents/grandparents and children.

  • Patent number: 10674683
Abstract: A sap collection assembly to collect sap from sap producing trees includes a cover superposed about a sapling or branch cut surface with one or more spacers used to maintain a gap between the cover and the cut surface. Elastomeric bands with an optional hose clamp are used to secure the cover to the sapling or branch to create an airtight seal between the cover and the cut surface. A bore hole is created in the sapling or tree branch has one end substantially central to the cut surface and a second end exiting a sidewall of the sapling or branch. Taps with optional tabs are secured to the sapling or branch to retrieve sap from the cut surface and bore. For angled bore holes, a modified tap includes a sapling nozzle angled relative to the tap body to accommodate an angled bore.

  • Publication number: 20200160358
Abstract: In general, embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods and computer readable media for identifying a new business based on programmatically analyzing content received from online sources and, as a result, discovering one or more references to the business. In embodiments, the system stores historical data representing previously identified new businesses and then uses attributes of those businesses in search queries to receive related content. Additionally or alternatively, the system stores data representing online sources that historically provided content containing references to new businesses and then continues to access those sources for additional content. In embodiments, the system performs content analysis on structured and/or unstructured content.
