  • Patent number: 11947712
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for a method. The method includes generating a correction datastore indicating shifts in magnitude representing corresponding characters that uniquely identify hardware comprising a computer processing chip. The method further includes generating security masks based on a correction file. Additionally, the method includes using a correction process for the computer processing chip. The generated security masks include corresponding overlays representing the shifts in magnitude with respect to corresponding product masks for the computer processing chip. • Patent number: 11916444
Abstract: Disclosed is a hermetic AC electric motor that includes harmonics shunting such that high frequency harmonics are shunted from the AC electric motor without the use of one or more high frequency filters in the associated motor drive. A related method of operating an AC electric motor includes shunting high frequency harmonics to a fluid passing through the AC electric motor. Also disclosed is a simplified variable speed motor drive system which eliminates the need for a filter for removing high frequency harmonics.

  • Publication number: 20220177232
Abstract: A modular omnidirectional hygienic conveyor belt constructed of a series of similar conveyor belt modules connected by pivot pins. Each conveyor belt module includes a modular laterally extending body having first spaced apart hinge eyes extending in a first direction and being connected to a first pivot pin and laterally offset second spaced apart hinge eyes extending in an opposed second direction and being connected to a second pivot pin. A plurality of spheres are captured by, engage and rotate omnidirectionally relative to upper and lower arcuate sphere contact surfaces of the body, which define for the spheres openly exposed opposed upper and lower spherical cap regions and openly exposed spherical segment regions therebetween, wherein openings in the body provide access for hygienic cleaning. A directional control system may drive the omnidirectional rotation of the spheres.

  • Patent number: 9155740
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of delaying the onset or treating diabetes that comprises administering a uric acid lowering agent. The inventors have made the remarkable discovery that elevated uric acid levels are not a corollary to insulin resistance, but rather a primary mediator of insulin resistance. Specifically exemplified are methods that involve administering to a patient susceptible to development of diabetes a composition comprising a uric acid lowering agent in a regimen that maintains serum uric acid levels below at least 5.5 mg/dl, or below at least 5.2 mg/dl.

  • Publication number: 20140377386
Abstract: A composition for inhibiting ketohexokinase, for example, ketohexokinase-C (KHK-C) activity, may include a plant extract exhibiting at least IC50 (i.e., 50% KHK-C inhibition at a concentration in the range of from about 0.1 ?g/mL to about 1000 ?g/mL. The composition may be in a form suitable for oral ingestion. A method for inhibiting KHK-C activity in a subject may include administering a plant extract that exhibits at least 50% KHK-C inhibition at a concentration from about 0.1 ?g/mL to about 1000 ?g/mL. The administering may be done to treat or prevent at least one of sugar addiction, obesity, or metabolic syndrome. The administering may be done to provide a diminished craving in the subject from at least one member selected from the group consisting of craving of sugar, fructose, fructose-containing sugars, carbohydrates, and combinations thereof. The subject may be pre-diabetic, diabetic and or insulin resistant.
