    Abstract: Component adhesion in systems comprising (1) rubber, (2) an adhesive composition and (3) a fibrous reinforcement is greatly improved through use of an adhesive composition comprising a 1-aza-3,7-dioxabicyclo[3.3.0]octane in combination with a reinforcement of aramid fibers. The rubber systems are useful in the formation of tires, belts, hoses etc.
