  • Patent number: 10814230
Abstract: A method for interactive event broadcasting includes receiving a video stream depicting an interactive event. Data representing one or more interactive event controls is received, the interactive event controls being manipulable by a viewer of the interactive event to provide input to the interactive event. The video stream depicting the interactive event and the one or more interactive event controls are displayed as components of a user interface, the video stream and the interactive event controls having a first spatial relationship. Based on detecting a change in state of the interactive event, the first spatial relationship between the video stream and the one or more interactive event controls is changed to a second spatial relationship.

  • Publication number: 20200138583
Abstract: Certain embodiments generally provide an improved tibial base member comprising keel portions that allow one or both cruciate ligaments to be preserved. Other embodiments provide improved lateral and/or medial inserts having a mesial lip that helps relieve and or prevent impingement between the femoral component and the tibial eminence. Other embodiments provide improved femoral components having various chamfers to provide additional clearance with respect to the tibial eminence and posterior cruciate ligament without decreasing bone coverage.

  • Patent number: 10645139
Abstract: Technologies are described for enabling a network protocol that supports switching between communication modes, including a plain text mode and a compressed mode. Switching between the plain text mode and the compressed mode can be performed without closing a network connection between devices. The network protocol can support communication among the devices interacting with a live interactive video game streaming service. The network protocol can also communicate throttling and/or aggregation messages between the devices of the live interactive video game streaming service.

  • Publication number: 20200062636
Abstract: Embodiments of thermally and chemically strengthened glass-based articles are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the glass-based articles may include a first surface and a second surface opposing the first surface defining a thickness (t), a first CS region comprising a concentration of a metal oxide that is both non-zero and varies along a portion of the thickness, and a second CS region being substantially free of the metal oxide of the first CS region, the second CS region extending from the first surface to a depth of compression of about 0.17?t or greater. In one or more embodiments, the first surface is flat to 100 ?m total indicator run-out (TIR) along any 50 mm or less profile of the first surface. Methods of strengthening glass sheets are also disclosed, along with consumer electronic products, laminates and vehicles including the same are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20190247261
Abstract: An armrest assembly is disclosed herein. The armrest assembly includes a main body with a proximal adjustment assembly disposed at a first end and a distal adjustment assembly disposed at a second end. The proximal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of the main body about a first axis. The distal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of an arm pad about a second axis as well as a third axis. To prevent damage, a breakaway assembly is provided by the distal adjustment assembly to unlock the arm pad from a raised position and lower it into a lower position in the event a weight applied to the arm pad is beyond a particular weight threshold.

  • Patent number: 9730705
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for performing knee arthroplasty, including, but not limited to, bicruciate retaining knee arthroplasty, are described herein. Methods and apparatus for preparing a distal femur for a femoral implant as well as methods and apparatus for preparing a proximal tibia for a tibial implant are described. These methods and apparatus, in at least some embodiments and uses, facilitate decreasing the complexity of knee arthroplasty procedures such as bicruciate retaining procedures, while maintaining, if not improving on, the safety, accuracy and/or effectiveness of such procedures.

  • Patent number: 8161462
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and signal-bearing medium that in an embodiment request a program or programs to tune themselves to run faster or slower if a service class is not meeting its performance goal. In an embodiment, the program is repeatedly requested to incrementally tune itself until the performance goal is met or until no further improvement occurs. In various embodiments, the programs to be requested to tune themselves are selected based on whether the programs are bottlenecks for the service class, whether the programs do the majority of work for the service class, whether the programs easily meet their own performance goals, or whether the programs are low priority. In this way, the programs may be performance tuned in a way that is more effective and less intrusive than by adjusting global, system-level resource allocations.
