  • Patent number: 11929527
Abstract: A fuel cell device of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The fuel cell device includes a fuel cell, a supply air path leading to the fuel cell for a cathode supply air flow, and an exhaust air path leading away from the fuel cell for a cathode exhaust air flow. The supply air path and the exhaust air path are routed through a humidifier that humidifies the supply air and dehumidifies the exhaust air. The exhaust air path is further routed through a water separator that removes water from the exhaust air to provide evaporation water. A heat exchanger for cooling the fuel cell is provided that has an evaporative cooler for cooling the heat exchanger. The evaporative cooler is assigned to the water separator in fluidic communication and is supplied with evaporation water by the water separator.

  • Patent number: 6503013
Abstract: A method of applying a medicament using a disposable swab applicator formed of a swab and a housing including a reservoir member and an adjustable sleeve member is provided. The reservoir member has a channel formed therein for receiving and storing the medicament with the adjustable inner sleeve member also being disposed within the channel. The inner sleeve member has an open first end which receives the swab and a closed second end with one or more windows formed between the first and second ends. In a first position within the reservoir member, the closed second end of the inner sleeve member forms a seal with the reservoir member to effectively store the medicament in the reservoir member. Movement of the inner sleeve member from the first position to a second position causes the medicament to flow through the one or more windows into contact with the swab resulting in the swab being ready for use.

  • Patent number: 5968648
Abstract: Mineral fibers are provided with a phosphorus-containing coating to impart high-temperature resistance without substantially affecting mechanical performance. Preferred mineral-fiber compositions according to the invention with relatively high levels of SiO.sub.2 and low levels of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3 compositions may advantageously be used for insulation. Such compositions have high-temperature resistance and high biosolubility, yet have properties which allow current processes to fabricate them into insulation. Preferably, the mineral fibers have a KI value.gtoreq.40.
