  • Publication number: 20200398753
Abstract: A method for guiding reversing of a vehicle includes displaying, via a video display screen of the vehicle, and responsive to the vehicle being shifted into reverse gear, video images derived from image data captured by a rear backup camera of the vehicle. Responsive to actuation of an input by the driver of the vehicle, an alignment overlay is generated and electronically superimposed on the displayed video images to assist the driver in reversing the vehicle toward a trailer hitch of a trailer. The alignment overlay extends longitudinally rearward from a central region of the vehicle displayed in the displayed video images. The input is an actuatable input other than the vehicle being shifted into reverse gear. The alignment overlay is adjusted responsive to change in steering angle of the vehicle while the driver is executing the reversing maneuver of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20200399054
Abstract: A seed carrier includes a main hopper coupled with a frame via leg members. The main hopper has a discharge. A base plate is coupled with the frame. A support arm is rotatably coupled with the base plate at a first end. A belt driven conveyor having a conveyor hopper at a first end and a discharge at a second end is rotatably coupled with a second end of said support arm at an approximate center of gravity thereof. A latch mechanism is provided for detachably coupling the first end of the conveyor with the first end of the support arm such that the conveyor hopper is position below the main hopper discharge. • Publication number: 20200404161
Abstract: A single user input element in an image capture device is used for both photo and video capture. Based on a first user interface activity, a timing reference is engaged at a first reference time. In a first case, photo capture is performed. In the first case, a second reference time is based on a second user interface activity, and the timing reference indicates a passage of time between the two reference times is shorter than a particular time interval. In a second case, video capture is performed. In the second case, the timing reference indicates a passage of time since the first reference time is equal to or longer than the particular time interval. Video capture is stopped based on a subsequent user interface activity. The user interface activities may comprise detecting actions based on the same type of physical manipulation of the single user input.

  • Publication number: 20200398110
Abstract: A method trains a user in performing a motion for an activity. The method employs an AV-equipped portable computing device positioned so that its camera faces the target. The device's processor executes computer processes that include: receiving and processing an output from the camera to determine an initial position of the target; processing the camera's output to determine a series of coordinates corresponding to positions of the target, assumed after the initial position; processing the series of coordinates, against a set of fault rules, to determine presence of a fault in performing the motion, wherein the fault rules relate to the motion based on target position in a real, physical space; and if a fault is determined, causing notification of the user, so as to train the user to perform the activity in a manner free of the fault.

  • Publication number: 20200401714
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product for validating a structured data object. A computer system receives a request to access enterprise data within a human resources database. The request is received from a consuming service within an authentication context of the user. The computer system determines a view context for the human resources (HR) database by applying a business rule to the authentication context. The business rule comprises a set of data nodes that are composed into a structured data object according to a domain specific language. The computer system creates a data view of the human resources database according to the view context determined by the business rule. The computer system provides the data view to the consuming service. The consuming service natively accesses the enterprise data through the data view.

  • Publication number: 20200404068
Abstract: A content delivery network (CDN) is enhanced to enable mobile network operators (MNOs) to provide their mobile device users with a content prediction and pre-fetching service. Preferably, the CDN enables the service by providing infrastructure support comprising a client application, and a distributed predictive pre-fetching function. The client application executes in the user's mobile device and enables the device user to subscribe to content (e.g., video) from different websites, and to input viewing preferences for such content (e.g.: “Sports: MLB: Boston Red Sox”). This user subscription and preference information is sent to the predictive pre-fetching support function that is preferably implemented within or across CDN server clusters. A preferred implementation uses a centralized back-end infrastructure, together with front-end servers positioned in association with the edge server regions located nearby the mobile core network.
