    Abstract: A thermoplastic bag includes duplicative seals. In particular, in one or more implementations, a thermoplastic bag includes a first seal and at least a second seal reinforcing the same area of the thermoplastic bag. For instance, in one or more implementations, the thermoplastic bag includes multiple seals along each side edge or along the hem. If one seal fails, the other seal(s) can remain in place to prevent leaks. Thus, the duplicative seals of the thermoplastic bag can provide reinforced strength and desired aesthetics.

    Abstract: Thermoplastic bags with phased deformation patterns are described. In particular, one or more implementations comprise thermoplastic bags with ring rolling, SELFing, or other deformation patterns phased or aligned relative to the sides of the bags. The phased deformation patterns can allow for reducing or eliminating deformation patterns in areas of the thermoplastic bag in which side seals or other seals are formed. Additionally or alternatively, the phased deformation patterns can provide for zones that provide differing properties (e.g., functional or aesthetic). Such zones can vary aligned along a width of the thermoplastic bag and optionally also vary along a height of the thermoplastic bag. The differing zones can provide the thermoplastic bags with phased deformations that provide leak prevention, liquid containment, and other benefits.

The embodiments of the invention include a sequencer that controls the sequence of operations when moving a video teleconferencing terminal between secure networks. The sequencer receives commands to initiate the operation from an initiator, such as a user-initiated button press from a control console or a user-initiated request from an Internet interface, or for a scheduled operation from a scheduling interface. The sequencer then issues commands to a secure database of terminal configuration data and a control isolator to both transfer a video teleconferencing terminal to a new secure network to begin a conference and to remove a video teleconferencing terminal from a secure network to end a conference.

The Conference Management System is integrated and linked with a gatekeeper, which is responsible for setting up calls that are using end point alias addresses. The gatekeeper works with the Conference Management System to control access to network resources.     Abstract: A continuous air monitor is provided with the capabilities of monitoring certain transuranic and other airborne radioactive particulate with high accuracy and low false alarm rates in the presence of radon and thoron daughter products. A multiple filter sampling approach is used wherein air flow is directed on a alternating basis to each sampling filter in turn. Each filter collects particulate in the size range of interest. Beta and/or alpha activity can be continuously measured on each filter. The air flow can be directed through a chamber where radon and/or thoron gas portions of the air may decay into their daughters and the quantities thereof may be separately measured.

    Abstract: A radon detection system is provided with the capability of monitoring certain environmental parameters together with certain other conditions indicative of possible tampering. The environmental data allows the calculation of an accurate projection of average long-term radon levels in the structure under test on the basis of a relatively short measurement period, while the tamper data indicates whether an attempt has been made to tamper with the detection unit or the measurement conditions during the test period. When an indication of possible tampering occurs, the system enters an accelerated data collection mode during which data is gathered that can later be used to determine whether tampering has actually occurred. The detection system may be provided with first and second detectors for separately monitoring airborne levels of radon gas and radon decay products.
