Abstract: Method for continuously preparing polypropylene pellets having reduced low-molecular weight volatile organic compounds, the method comprising the steps of?a) preheating polypropylene pellets, ?b) feeding the preheated polypropylene pellets of step a) to a purge vessel and maintaining the pellets in said purge vessel while directing a flow of at least 10 Nm3 purge gas per hour per m3 of polypropylene pellets (Nm3/ m3 pp.hour) through the pellets, ?c) removing polypropylene pellets from said purge vessel, wherein the residence time of polypropylene pellets in said purge vessel is at least 24 hours and the polypropylene pellets are maintained at a temperature Tp of from 100 to 140° C., wherein in the preheating step a) the pellets are preheated to a temperature in the range of Tp?20° C. and Tp+10° C.; wherein the polypropylene pellets have a temperature<40° C.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the manufacture of polypropylene having a target melt flow rate of from 10 to 200 g/10 min as determined in accordance with ISO 1133 (230° C., 2.16 kg) comprising the sequential steps of i) polymerizing propylene monomer, and optionally one or more alpha olefin co-monomers so as to form a polypropylene having an initial melt flow rate of from 0.5 to 20 g/10 min (ISO 1133, 230° C., 2.16 kg), ii) visbreaking said polypropylene to obtain polypropylene having said target melt flow rate and wherein the ratio of target to initial melt flow rate is more than 1 iii) maintaining the polypropylene obtained from step ii) at an elevated temperature for a time sufficient to reduce the FOG value of the polypropylene as determined in accordance with VDA 278. The method allows the time for FOG reduction to be reduced as compared to polypropylenes that have the same target melt flow rate, yet which have obtained said melt flow rate without the visbreaking step.

For their part, the manifolds have multiple connectors for the respirators of end users. The system uses a monitoring control system with various wireless sensors to monitor operation of the system and the quality of breathing air produced. These sensors include an in-line sensor detecting constituents or contaminants in the breathing air. The sensors also include pressure, temperature, and flow sensors monitoring the operation of the system. An automatic switchover is provided for switching the system to a back-up supply of high-pressure reserve air if needed.

The server may store the feedback data received from the buying agent on the database that is accessible to the selling agent.
