The electronic device has a memory (110) that stores an audible text explaining a button operation, a guidance speaker control section (135) that causes a guidance speaker (105) to reproduce a vocalization of the audible text read out from the memory (110), and a button illumination control section (136) that illuminates, in synchronization with the vocalization of a sentence included in the audible text vocalized through the guidance speaker (105), operating buttons that correspond to that sentence.
