Abstract: A device for removably attaching a writing implement to a clipboard clip comprises at least one flexible tab formed parallel to an outer surface of the clip and formed therefrom to hold the writing implement between the outer surface of the clip and an arcuate portion of the flexible tab(s). The flexible tab(s) and the outer surface of the clip form a cavity fashioned to retain the writing implement removable in a motion substantially parallel to the upper surface of the clip. A foundation plane, an upper plane and a spring hinge there between and at least one gripping appendage attach to the clip board or the clip. An elongated “u” shaped to cavity is fashioned therefrom to retain the writing implement, whereby the spring hinge deflects and the writing implement is removed responsive to a manual force on the writing implement in a motion substantially parallel to the foundation plane.

It has a hem that holds the drawstring that is fabricated separately to allow that the edges of the sheet can be curved. The hem is terminated short of closing to allow a gap for the drawstring to exit. A stiffener is added at the gap to hold it open. There can be a block or pulley added to aid in tightening.

Abstract: A cord lock with an internal structure designed to guide a pair of cord parts through the device smoothly to minimize friction thereby increasing final tension in the cord parts. And further designed to guide the cord exit on the operators side to facilitate a tightening method where the cord parts can be held one in each hand and pulled apart giving the operator more leverage and multiplying the tension force in the cord parts (13).

Abstract: A fitted sheet with draw string sewn in a hem on the peripheral edges. The edges are fashioned so that the final shape of the hem, when the sheet is installed on the mattress is not parallel to the edges of the mattress and forms a curve resembling an ellipse beneath the mattress providing for the enhanced distribution of the tension substantially throughout and across the sheet face.
