  • Patent number: 10500201
Abstract: Processes for preparing porous particles are disclosed, in which the resulting particles release an encapsulated active ingredient more readily in aqueous media than they do in alcoholic media. Also described are the particles themselves, as well as tamperproof, abuse-deterrent, dosage forms comprising the porous particles. The release characteristics of the porous particles make them useful for overcoming drug-abuse techniques, such as dose-dumping in alcoholic media.

  • Publication number: 20190340429
Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides a system and method for processing and identifying data in form. The system and method may distinguish between content data and background data in a form. In some aspects, the content data or background data may be removed, wherein the remaining data may be processed separately. Removal of the background data or the content data may allow for more effective or efficient character recognition of the data. In some embodiments, data may be processed on an element basis, wherein each element of the form may be labeled as background data, content data, noise, or combinations thereof. This system and method may significantly increase the ability to capture and extract relevant information from a form.

  • Publication number: 20190342654
Abstract: An acoustic matching structure is used to increase the power radiated from a transducing element with a higher impedance into a surrounding acoustic medium with a lower acoustic impedance. The acoustic matching structure consists of a thin, substantially planar cavity bounded by a two end walls and a side wall. The end walls of the cavity are formed by a blocking plate wall and a transducing element wall separated by a short distance (less than one quarter of the wavelength of acoustic waves in the surrounding medium at the operating frequency). The end walls and side wall bound a cavity with diameter approximately equal to half of the wavelength of acoustic waves in the surrounding medium. In operation, a transducing element generates acoustic oscillations in the fluid in the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20190340466
Abstract: The present disclosure provides generally for a system and method for generating and processing training data, such as when access to training data for a form may be insufficient to effectively train an artificial entity to process the associated form. According to the present disclosure, a computer system may identify and distinguish between content data and background data from a small set of data, such as a handful of authentic forms. The computer system may remove unwanted text, noise, or other portions of an image to create an empty, blank, or scrubbed form with no data. The system may generate training examples or synthetic data from this form, which may be incorporated into training data. In some embodiments, the synthetic data may be generated into a form. The computer system may synthetically generate variations in the original form to simulate variations that may exist with expected incoming data.

  • Publication number: 20190331108
Abstract: A compressor of the present invention has a blocking portion for preventing a refrigerant containing an inflammable component such as lubricating oil ejected from an ejection port of a safety relief valve from being ejected to a specific direction where a drive belt, an electromagnetic clutch, an exhaust manifold, and placed. The blocking portion is not separately attached but is integrally formed with a housing member by using the same material as that thereof, and is disposed on a line in an ejection direction of the ejection port. The present invention can provide a compressor excellent in productivity, durability, and safety without increasing the number of manufacturing processes or causing, for example, rotation failure of the drive belt and a pulley for driving the compressor and its auxiliaries and an occurrence of white smoke due to a contact between the exhaust manifold at high temperatures and the refrigerant.

  • Publication number: 20170175867
Abstract: A hydro-mechanical transmission assembly includes a hydrostatic pump-motor assembly having a variable displacement hydrostatic pump. The pump has a primary input shaft configured to be operatively driven by a prime mover. The hydrostatic pump-motor assembly also includes a hydraulic motor fluidly coupled to and operatively driven by the hydrostatic pump. The motor has a primary output shaft that is bi-directionally rotatable with change in displacement of the pump. The primary output shaft is coupled to a secondary input shaft of a multi-speed transmission, wherein the multi-speed transmission includes one of: a counter-shaft transmission system, a multi-stage planetary gear set, and a power-shift transmission system that includes a combination of the counter-shaft transmission system and the multi-stage planetary gear set. This way, a secondary output shaft of the multi-speed transmission is configured to operate with discrete speed ratios in relation to the primary output shaft of the hydraulic motor.

  • Patent number: 9386358
Abstract: Summaries of video programs can be automatically created by identifying and compiling repeated portions of the program content. In many programs (such as broadcasts of sporting events), the most interesting portions of the event are often repeated more than once during the course of the program. By automatically identifying the replayed portions of the video presentation, then, a highlight summary of a television broadcast can be automatically created. Repeated imagery can be automatically identified by comparing metric values representing the contents of video frames. This technique can be implemented within a set top box or other television receiver that is operated by a viewer, thereby providing a high level of flexibility and convenience.
