  • Publication number: 20240111574
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing a hierarchical scheduler. In various implementations, a processor includes a global scheduler, and a plurality of independent local schedulers with each of the local schedulers coupled to a plurality of processors. In one implementation, the processor is a graphics processing unit and the processors are computation units. The processor further includes a shared cache that is shared by the plurality of local schedulers. Each of the local schedulers also includes a local cache used by the local scheduler and processors coupled to the local scheduler. To schedule work items for execution, the global scheduler is configured to store one or more work items in the shared cache and convey an indication to a first local scheduler of the plurality of local schedulers which causes the first local scheduler to retrieve the one or more work items from the shared cache.

  • Publication number: 20240111575
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing a message passing system to schedule work in a computing system. In various implementations, a processor includes a global scheduler, and a plurality of local schedulers with each of the local schedulers coupled to a plurality of processors. The processor further includes a shared cache that is shared by the plurality of local schedulers. Also, a plurality of mailboxes are implemented to enable communication between the local schedulers and the global scheduler. To schedule work items for execution, the global scheduler is configured to store one or more work items in the shared cache and store an indication in a mailbox for a first local scheduler of the plurality of local schedulers. Responsive to detecting the message in the mailbox, the first local scheduler identifies a location of the one or more work items in the shared cache and retrieves them for scheduling locally.

  • Publication number: 20240093573
Abstract: An apparatus, a system and a process for regulating a wellhead control mechanism. The apparatus may control actuation of a wellhead control mechanism by moving a moveable body of the apparatus between a first position and a second position. When the apparatus is in the first position a valve actuator is actuatable. When the apparatus is in the second position the valve actuator is physically interfered from actuating. Additionally, when the apparatus is in the second position, the wellhead control mechanism cannot be actuated and is held in either an open, a partially open or a closed position. Further, a system may directly control actuation of a wellhead actuation mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20240098076
Abstract: A third-party server, delegated by organizations to manage application environment, may maintain a plurality of guided workflow plans. At least one of the guided workflow plans may include one or more steps associated with setting up an interaction control policy. The third-party server may receive an interaction report associated with the organization. The interaction report may include metadata of one or more devices that interacted with other devices. The third-party server may identify a particular device to which existing interaction control policies of the organization are inapplicable. The third-party server may search for additional out-of-band information of the particular device using the metadata in the interaction report. The third-party server may select an applicable guided workflow plan for setting up an applicable interaction control policy for the particular device. A guided workflow may be presented via a graphical user interface according to the applicable guided workflow plan.

  • Patent number: 11936453
Abstract: Multi-User Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) data transmissions are provided with a forward-predictive precoding matrix to mitigate the effects of a change in a state of a communication channel. First and second soundings are performed, at first and second times, to a receive antenna over a channel and, responsive to each of the soundings, first and second Channel State Information (CSI) are received. Based on the first and second CSI, a change in a state of the channel over a time period between the first and second time is determined. Based on the change in the state of the channel, a forward-predictive channel state matrix and/or a forward-predictive precoding matrix are determined that reflect a state of the channel at a future time and that are consistent with the determined change in the state over the time period. The forward-predictive precoding matrix is applied to a data transmission.
