  • Publication number: 20220092688
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for pacing a spend may include: (1) receiving, at a pacing computer program executed by a computer processor, a spend budget for a user for a period, wherein the spend budget represents income transactions for the period minus recurring or expected expense transactions for the period; (2) determining, by the pacing computer program, a pace of spend for the spend budget at a point in time for the period, wherein the pace of spend may be asymmetrical across the period; (3) determining, by the pacing computer program, a current spend for the period at the point of time; and (4) causing, by the pacing computer program, a display of an electronic device to graphically present the pace of spend for the point in time and the current spend for the period at the point in time.

  • Patent number: 11088499
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a wear measuring system for friction elements, in particular for brushes and the like, as well as to a method for measuring the wear of friction elements, comprising at least one consumable friction element, a holding device for movably positioning the friction element relative to a friction surface, and a measuring device for determining a wear status of the friction element relative to a wear length of the friction element, wherein the measuring device has a potentiometer, wherein the potentiometer is mechanically coupled with the friction element in such a way that a movement by the friction element relative to the friction surface induces a movement by the potentiometer.

  • Patent number: 6952420
Abstract: The current invention provides a system for transmitting and receiving information comprising a first layer transceiver device, a plurality of second layer transceiver devices, and an interface connecting the first layer transceiver device and the a plurality of second layer transceiver devices. The first layer transceiver device and the a plurality of second layer transceiver devices transmit and receive data over the interface and a time division multiplexed (TDM) signal that indicates the availability of one of said second layer transceiver devices.

  • Patent number: 6690670
Abstract: A system and method for transmission over a bus between ATM layer devices and PHY layer devices which exist on different printed circuit boards use a ATM-PHY layer interface connected to the ATM and PHY layers across a bus. Data and control signals are transmitted across the ATM-PHY interface consisting of a single clock and one or more pairs of data leads. Asynchronous cell transmission without flow control, with cell level flow control and with byte/octet level flow control as well as cell synchronization are possible. The number of signals required to connect the PHY/ATM layer devices are dramatically reduced by transporting the data and control information using in-band signaling.

  • Patent number: 6674750
Abstract: A method and apparatus for communicating both packet data and time division multiplexed (TDM) transmissions over a shared bus. An apparatus is providing having a shared data communication bus and first and second control signals. The first control signal indicates the transmission of time division multiplexed data on the shared data communication bus, while the second control signal indicates the transmission of packet data on the shared data communication bus. A plurality of packet modules are provided, wherein each packet module is responsive to the state of the first and second control signals, and each packet module is further configured to transmit and receive data across the shared data communication bus. A plurality of synchronous interfacemodules are further provided, wherein each synchronous interface module is configured to transmit and receive data across the shared data communication bus.
