  • Publication number: 20200002835
Abstract: Methods for forming single crystal silicon ingots with improved resistivity control. The methods involve growth and resistivity measurement of a sample rod. The sample rod may have a diameter less than the diameter of the product ingot. The resistivity of the sample rod may be measured directly by contacting a resistivity probe with a planar segment formed on the sample rod. The sample rod may be annealed in a thermal donor kill cycle prior to measuring the resistivity.

  • Publication number: 20190379686
Abstract: A circular, cylindrically shaped tool handle holds multiple sizes of tools. The handle includes one or more holding slots each positioned on the outer surface into which tools are inserted and held. Each holding slot includes one or more contoured compartments in which tools rest when engaged with the handle. Each contoured compartment is of a size and dimension which corresponds to one or more tool sizes. Each contoured compartment is formed about a corresponding receiving hole. A lock is positioned over the contoured compartment to irremovably confine the short leg of the hexagonal wrench within the contoured compartment. Hexagonal shaped tools other than wrenches are able to be used with the handle of the present invention such as screwdrivers and socket wrenches. A tool container stores the tools and the tool handle.

  • Patent number: 10453703
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a method to recover the gate oxide integrity yield of a silicon wafer after rapid thermal anneal in an ambient atmosphere comprising a nitrogen containing gas, such as NH3 or N2. Generally, rapid thermal anneals in an ambient atmosphere comprising a nitrogen containing gas, such as NH3 or N2 to thereby imprint an oxygen precipitate profile can degrade the GOI yield of a silicon wafer by exposing as-grown crystal defects (oxygen precipitate) and vacancies generated by the silicon nitride film. The present invention restores GOI yield by stripping the silicon nitride layer, which is followed by wafer oxidation, which is followed by stripping the silicon oxide layer.

  • Patent number: 10434631
Abstract: A universal ratcheting tool provides improved handling of tools that are difficult to use on their own, specifically, hexagonal wrenches. The universal ratcheting tool includes a handle and a body with a ratcheting mechanism within the handle. The body includes a first aperture for receiving a tool, and the first aperture includes slots to accept a plurality of sizes of tools. The body also includes a second aperture where the tool extends out of the body. A retaining component is coupled with the body to retain the tool and a retaining tab is able to be used to open and close the retaining component. Once the tool is positioned and retained within the universal ratcheting tool, a user is able to easily install or remove an object such as a screw with the benefit of a comfortable handle and the ease of use of the ratcheting mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20190266183
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving, from a first network application, a first unbounded list of objects of a first type and a second unbounded list of objects of a second type, wherein the second type is distinct from the first type, and producing a third unbounded list of objects of a third type, wherein the third type is distinct from both the first type and the second type. The computer-implemented method further includes providing the third unbounded list to a second network application. A corresponding computer program product and computer system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4373188
Abstract: Cigarette-rod weight monitoring system in which the signals from a scanner, e.g. a nucleonic device such as Molins "MODIC", are processed and stored in a memory in a digitized form, and the memory contents are used to drive an analog display device. These signals, which represent the individual cigarettes, or short lengths, are accumulated in the memory over a period which is sufficiently long for a statistically significant distribution pattern to be achieved, so that the shape of the distribution curve can be observed to determine whether it is "normal" or whether any skews or other irregularities are present. In addition the accomulated signals can be analyzed in various ways to provide quantitative measurements of overall standard deviation, or effective standard deviation either side of the mean to show whether any "skews" exist. S.D. can be calculated for whole cigarettes or short lengths for different diagnostic purposes.

  • Patent number: 4300211
Abstract: A bistable circuit comprises a light-emitting diode connected in series with a phototransistor and so disposed as to illuminate the latter. When current is flowing--i.e. when the phototransistor conducts--light from the LED keeps the phototransistor conductive, and the circuit can be switched to the non-conductive (OFF) state by interrupting the light path between the LED and the phototransistor. When the circuit is OFF it can be switched to the ON state by external light.A data-storage device embodying such bistable circuits is also disclosed; a rotatable disc carries a plurality of such circuits at regular spacings adjacent its periphery, and several setting devices at different positions are each operable to illuminate one of the circuits passing the setting device to switch that circuit to the ON state.
