The first port receives a first set of multiple signal bands transmitted in a downstream direction on a communication link. The second port receives a second set of multiple signal bands transmitted in an upstream direction on the communication link; the second set of multiple signal bands include a first signal band and a second signal band. The amplifier circuitry amplifies the first set of multiple signal bands and the second set of multiple signal bands. A given signal band in the first set resides in a frequency spectrum between the first signal band and the second signal band of the second set. Communications in the given signal band control at least one set-top box coupled to the communication link in the downstream direction.

The tip wall has an inboard side facing the interior of the cavity and an outboard side facing away from the cavity and the tip cap has an outer tip side on a bottom of the cavity. Thermal barrier coatings are disposed on the inboard and outboard sides of the squealer tip wall and on the outer tip side of the tip cap. One embodiment provides the tip cap with cooling holes disposed therethrough to flow cooling air into the cavity.

    Abstract: A novel abdominal exercise machine is provided which is adaptable for a variety of strength exercises utilizing at least some of the weight of a user for resistance. The exercise machine includes a first frame having laterally spaced and parallel side arms adapted for at least partially receiving a user in a supine position therebetween for abdominal exercise. A second frame is pivotally attached to one side of the first frame and includes a support member for at least partially supporting a user's weight thereon during utilization of the exercise machine. When utilized for abdominal exercise, the support member can support a user's head thereon. When utilized for a variety of strength exercises, the support member can support at least some or all of the weight of a user thereon wherein the user can stand, sit, or kneel on the support member. The amount of resistance encountered during strength exercises can be selectively adjusted.

    Abstract: A multi-function exercise machine which makes use of the body weight of an exerciser and has a base frame and a user support frame pivotably mounted thereon. A lever arm mechanism for pivotably raising and lowering the user support frame against the user's weight is provided and comprises a handle bar having a lever arm depending therefrom and carrying a roller on the lower end thereof. An arcuate track is adjustably mounted to the base frame so as to provide an adjustable arcuate pathway for the lever arm roller to travel upon as the user pivotably motivates the handle bars and lever arm secured thereto in order to raise and lower the user support frame. Pushing and pulling exercises may be performed according to the selected position of the arcuate track.

    Abstract: A transmission control system includes a plurality of hydraulic pressure operated control elements for engaging a gear of the transmission in response to actuation of a shift control lever having neutral and non-neutral positions, a plurality of control valves for controlling pressurization of the control elements and a pump for supplying pressurized fluid to the control valves. An engagement override system includes a switch which is coupled to the shift lever and which energizes a solenoid when the shift lever is in its neutral position and de-energizes the solenoid when the shift lever is in its non-neutral position. In a preferred embodiment, an engagement override valve includes a pilot operated valve which controls communication between the pump, a reservoir and the pressure operated control elements. The solenoid controls the pilot operated valve.

A pressure regulator valve is in circuit with the directional clutch control valves and is acted on by pilot pressure fluid controlled by a proportional solenoid type control valve wherein the pressure rate of rise in the directional clutches may be selectively controlled in accordance with the particular shift condition initiated and based on a previous transmission operating condition. The control unit provides for a predetermined pressure rate of rise signal to the pressure regulator valve based on the selected shift condition and the previous operating condition of the transmission.

    Abstract: An improved analog-to-digital encoder comprising an enhanced delta modulation encoder. The enhanced delta modulation encoder includes a spectrum tilter, a 1 bit analog-to-digital converter, a sampling circuit and an internal decoder. An analog input signal and an internal analog signal from the internal decoder are summed to provide an analog dither which is essentially an internal error signal. The analog dither signal is tilted by the spectrum tilter and is provided to the 1 bit analog-to-digital converter which generates a digital signal. The sampling circuit receives the digital signal from the analog-to-digital converter and generates a digital output which is fed back to the internal decoder. The spectrum tilter comprises at least three integrator circuits and a clipping circuit connected in parallel to two of the three integrator circuits.
