    Abstract: An in-line wheeled roller skate for traversing rough terrain including low-profiled, wide-treaded, high-volumed pneumatic tires each followed by scrapers for discouraging debris from binding the tire against a shielding U-frame. The scrapers may be maintained at a fixed distance away from or in contact with the tread. A brake is provided at the rear of the roller skate.
