    Abstract: Magnetic resonance images (NMR, MRI) are subjected to quantitative analysis of the water content of individual regions of the images, preferably with treatment of relaxation effects, correction for non-uniformities, and taking account of the possible presence of fat tissue. Respective electric-permittivity values can be generated from the aforementioned water-content maps to produce electric-permittivity maps of the object observed.
