  • Patent number: 7645179
Abstract: A lifting and shaping system for a bra or other garment uses lift platforms shaped to fit into the cups of the bra and formed from thin material. The lift platforms are attached to the garment toward the center of the garment. Connectors having one end attached to the lift platform and the other end attached to a slide on the shoulder strap adjust the lift of the lift platform when the slide is moved. Flexible shaping members distribute the lift of the lift platforms and maintain the natural shape of the breasts as they are lifted. Smoothing shields ease the movement of the lift platforms and connectors within the cloth confines of the breast cups. The flexible shaping members may also perform some of the functions of a smoothing shield.

  • Patent number: 7452260
Abstract: A lifting and shaping system for a bra is disclosed. The system uses lift platforms shaped to fit into the cups of the bra and formed from thin material such as plastic. The lift platforms are attached to the bra toward the center of the bra.

  • Publication number: 20070232190
Abstract: Adjustable breast positioning system for a breast received within a breast cup of a woman's garment comprising a pliable platform situated within a lower region of the breast cup; a shaping member at least partially overlaying the platform wherein the platform and shaping member are open to the top portion of the breast cup; and a connector having one end coupled to the platform and another end connected to an anchor moveably mounted to the garment for adjusting the platform for reducing the available volume for the breast within the breast cup and for concomitantly pushing the shaping member upward and inward for displacing the breast upward, forward, and inward toward the center of the wearer's chest while simultaneously increasing the volume of the breast outside the top portion of the breast cup for providing an improved visual presentation of the breast.

  • Publication number: 20050277364
Abstract: A lifting and shaping system for a bra is disclosed. The system uses lift platforms shaped to fit into the cups of the bra and formed from thin material such as plastic. The lift platforms are attached to the bra toward the center of the bra. Adjustable sliding anchors are located on the shoulder straps of the bra and have a connector attached to each of them. The other end of the connectors are attached to a respective lift platform. As a sliding anchor is moved up and down a bra strap, it pulls or lowers the connector which raises and lowers the lift platform in the breast cup. This adjusts the amount of lift given in supporting the breasts. The paths of the connectors are constrained by guide loops attached to the bra which provides smoother operation. Flexible shaping members distribute the lift of the lift platforms and maintain the natural shape of the breasts as they are lifted. Smoothing shields ease the movement of the lift platforms and connectors within the cloth confines of the breast cups.
