    Abstract: A body warming belt containing a pair of pockets adapted to receive chemical or electrical heating devices at positions directly opposite the user's kidneys, respectively, thereby to warm the user. According to a modification of the invention the warming belt may have removable pockets which can be positioned at various locations on the belt in accordance with the size of the user thereby to support the heating devices directly opposite the user's kidneys, respectively.

    Abstract: A thermal mitten includes a first end portion containing an opening through which the user introduces his hand into a chamber contained within the mitten, the second end portion of the mitten containing a pocket for receiving a warming device to warm the user's fingers, characterized by the provision of a palm opening contained in the palm portion of the mitten, thereby to permit gripping of a steering wheel or the like by the palm portion of the user's hand. When the user's fingers are slipped out from the second end portion, the second end portion may be folded back toward a retracted inoperative position against the back of the mitten body portion, at least one restraining device being provided for retaining the second end portion in place with sufficient force as to permit a user to grip a golf club and strike a golf ball. A thumb portion is provided on the mitten which is foldable back to a retained position between the second end portion and the back of the mitten body portion.

    Abstract: A thermal glove includes a cap that is connected with the glove body by a flexible strip for displacement from a stored position adjacent the back of the glove to an operative position in which the cap encloses the finger portions of the glove. The cap contains an interior pocket for receiving a heating device, thereby to heat the glove finger portions. The back portion of the glove body includes a storage pocket for partially receiving the cap and the flexible strip when the cap is displaced to the stored position adjacent to the back portion of the glove body.

    Abstract: A heated glove includes a cap portion that is pivotally connected by stitching with a hand portion to cover and uncover the user's fingers which project from one end of the hand portion, the cap portion containing a pocket for receiving a pervious pouch containing an oxygen-activated heating chemical. The stitching arrangement is such that the user may simply manipulate the fingers of a single hand to pivot the cap portion associated therewith rearwardly to the finger-uncovered inoperative position.

A closure arrangement, such as a cooperating pair of Velcro strips, a button, a snap fastener device or the like, may be provided for closing the flap defined on the fabric layer at the open end of the pocket.
