Abstract: A system and method for managing business processes. In one embodiment, electronic business rules are provided that define actions to execute a business process workflow. A workflow queue is provided with a plurality of actions for performing the business process workflow based on the electronic business rules. Typically, at least a portion of the actions are role-based. A user may navigate and select an outstanding action from the workflow queue based on a role associated with the user. A real-time status for each action in the workflow queue can be provided upon request.

Abstract: An electronic store is designed in the form a video/audio presentation network stored on a medium from which it can be retrieved by subscriber's to an interactive communication system. The presentations in the network comprise still picture images viewed by the subscriber with accompanying audio. These presentations, for example, can depict the offering of products or services to subscribers.
