    Abstract: Video surveillance system for assessment of customer ordering in a drive-through, wherein the video surveillance system having a first camera, a second camera, a network, a control unit, a computer vision unit. The first camera acquires a first image, the second camera acquires a second image. The computer vision unit has a calculating features for the first and second images. The computer vision unit a means for matching such features, wherein a vehicle is tracked by matching the first image and second images. The control unit computes a time span between the appearance of the vehicle appearing in the first image and appearing in the second image. The first and second cameras are arranged laterally to a side window of the vehicle, so that inside the vehicle is recorded at two time points.

The image material graded as potentially illegal has the age of the persons shown determined, and potentially illegal image material which shows at least one person whose ascertained age is below a prescribed age is graded as illegal image material. Biometric features of the persons shown in the illegal image material are detected and are compared with at least one database which contains biometric features. In the illegal image material, at least one further feature which it contains is detected and is compared with at least one appropriate database.

    Abstract: A method for acquiring biometric data of a finger a surface to be imaged includes touchlessly and simultaneously imaging a finger surface to be imaged along at least three different directions into digital images, wherein each point of the surface to be imaged is imaged along at least two of the directions and wherein the surface to be imaged extends from a first nail edge across a finger-ball to a second nail edge. Subsequently, a geometric basic model for at least a part of the finger is determined using at least one of the digital images. Pre-warped images are calculated by geometrically pre-warping the digital images using the geometric basic model. Additionally, a three-dimensional model of the surface to be imaged is reconstructed using a stereoscopic analysis of the pre-warped images and at least one finger characteristic is determined using the three-dimensional model.
