    Abstract: A weapon magazine loading apparatus includes a magazine guide channel, a magazine loading region at the base of the magazine guide channel and an ammunition holding ramp. The loading region has an ammunition round holding depression in a base surface of the loading region, and a spring-loaded retaining wall positioned adjacent to the round holding depression. The retaining wall is movable between a first position extending into the loading channel and a second position below the base surface under pressure exerted on a magazine in the channel. The holding ramp positioned adjacent to the magazine loading region and holds a plurality of rounds of ammunition at an angle such that a round of ammunition in the ramp will roll toward the magazine loading region. The depth and width of the magazine holding region is adjustable to accommodate different types of magazines and calibers of ammunition.

    Abstract: A GPU filters graphics workloads to identify candidates for profiling. In response to receiving a graphics workload for the first time, the GPU determines if the graphics workload would require the GPU shaders to use fewer resources than would be spent profiling and determining a resource allocation for subsequent receipts of the same or a similar graphics workload. The GPU can further determine if the shaders are processing more than one graphics workload at the same time, such that the performance characteristics of each individual graphics workload cannot be effectively isolated. The GPU then profiles and stores resource allocations for a plurality of shaders for processing the filtered graphics workloads, and applies those stored resource allocations when the same or a similar graphics workload is received subsequently by the GPU.

    Abstract: Network address requests from candidate nodes are directed to a quarantined server rather than a network address server. The candidate node is admitted to a virtual network, enabling the candidate node to access only limited resources of the network and minimizing security risks to the network. The quarantined server determines whether the candidate node complies with a set of security criteria. If the candidate node conforms to the set of criteria, when a second request for a network address is sent by the candidate node, the second request is received by the quarantined server and relayed to the network address server. Thereafter, the network address server will issue a network address to the candidate node, enabling the candidate node to access at least a portion of the full resources of the network. If the candidate node does not comply with the security criteria and cannot be remediated, the network address server will not issue a network address to the candidate node.
