  • Patent number: 11420480
Abstract: A tyre includes a tread portion being provided with two circumferential grooves extending in a tyre circumferential direction to form a crown land portion therebetween. The crown land portion is provided with two or more crown grooves extending inwardly of the crown land portion from the respective circumferential grooves. Each crown groove includes wide-width regions and narrow-width regions having a groove width smaller than that of the wide-width regions, and the wide-width regions and the narrow-width regions are alternated.

  • Patent number: 11400761
Abstract: A tire includes a projection disposed between a tread end and a maximum width position on a side surface. The projection includes a groove that extends through an outer side surface in a circumferential direction. The tire is preferably produced by using a mold which has a first part and a second part and in which a dividing line between the first and the second parts extends in the circumferential direction and comes into contact with the side surface, and the groove preferably overlaps an imaginary line, on the side surface, corresponding to the dividing line. A width of the groove is preferably not less than 1.5 mm and preferably not greater than 3.0 mm.

  • Publication number: 20110226400
Abstract: It is an object to provide a tire having both a ride comfort and a handling stability on a high level. There is provided a reinforcing layer (20) which is positioned on an inner peripheral side of a carcass (10) at an inside of a sidewall (6). The carcass (10) has a radial structure. A bead (8) includes a core (26) and an apex (28) extended outward in a radial direction from the core (26). A ratio (Sa/Sc) of a sectional area (Sa) of the apex (28) to a sectional area (Sc) of the core (26) is equal to or higher than 0.5 and is equal to or lower than 1.5. A hardness of the reinforcing layer (20) is equal to or higher than 85 and is equal to or lower than 95. A thickness of the reinforcing layer (20) is equal to or greater than 1 mm and is equal to or smaller than 4 mm. A ratio (H1/Ht) of a height (H1) of the reinforcing layer (20) to a height (Ht) of a tire (2) is equal to or higher than 0.5 and is equal to or lower than 0.8.
