  • Patent number: 12110835
Abstract: A controller is configured to control an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine may execute multi-shot injection and single-shot injection and execute a deactivating process that stops supplying fuel to at least one of cylinders and supplies fuel to the remaining cylinders. The controller is configured to execute, when terminating the deactivating process to restart supplying fuel to a deactivated cylinder in which supply of fuel is stopped, a retarding process that executes a first fuel injection through the single-shot injection and retards a fuel injection start timing as compared to when executing the multi-shot injection.

  • Patent number: 12107514
Abstract: A power conversion device includes: a first control unit and a second control unit that output a first control signal and a second control signal, respectively; a gate circuit that causes a control signal selected from the first control signal and the second control signal to pass through the gate circuit; and a drive circuit that drives a main circuit based on the control signal that passes through the gate circuit. When the second control signal is selected in the state where the first control signal passes through the gate circuit, the gate circuit interrupts the first control signal and causes the second control signal to pass through the gate circuit as an absolute value of an instantaneous value of an AC current decreases below a threshold current.

  • Patent number: 12078371
Abstract: A temperature sensing system senses a temperature in the monitor space. The temperature sensing system includes a first detector, a second detector, and a processing unit. The first detector detects a temperature on a ceiling and outputs first information about the temperature on the ceiling. The second detector detects infrared radiation emitted from a floor and outputs second information about the infrared radiation from the floor. The processing unit calculates, based on at least the first information and the second information, a spatial temperature distribution which includes a component in a height direction with respect to the monitor space between the ceiling and the floor.

  • Publication number: 20240236115
Abstract: An electronic control unit is connected to a network in an in-vehicle network system. The electronic control unit includes a first control circuit that operates on a first operating system and a second control circuit that operates on a second operating system. The first control circuit is connected to the network via the second control circuit. The second control circuit performs a first determination process on frames to determine conformity of the frames with a first rule. Upon determining that the frames conform to the first rule, the second control circuit transmits contents of the frames to the first control circuit. The first control circuit performs a second determination process on the contents of the frames to determine conformity with a second rule. The second rule is different from the first rule.

  • Patent number: 11933236
Abstract: The vehicle control device executes: a stop process for stopping fuel supply to two cylinders to be stopped; and a selection process of selecting one cylinder to be a stop instruction for stopping fuel supply from among the cylinders to be stopped. The selection process is a process of selecting a cylinder whose compression top dead center appears earliest among the stop target cylinders. The crank angle interval from when the cylinder to be the stop instruction target is selected until the stop instruction target cylinder is switched to the next cylinder among the stop target cylinders is the stoppable angle interval. The stop instruction for the selected cylinder is received before the fuel injection start time and at the stoppable angle interval. The control device executes a retard process of retarding the fuel injection start timing so that the stoppable angle interval includes the fuel injection start timing.

  • Publication number: 20230399990
Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a catalyst arranged in an exhaust passage, a fuel injection valve that supplies fuel to a cylinder, and an ignition device. A controller controls a fuel injection amount of the fuel injection valve and an ignition timing of the ignition device. The controller executes a fuel supply process that supplies fuel of the internal combustion engine from the fuel injection valve to the catalyst and a correction process that corrects an amount of fuel supplied to the catalyst during the fuel supply process so that the catalyst is supplied with less fuel when the ignition timing is retarded than when the ignition timing is advanced.
