A hearing device including such a housing assembly is also contemplated.

Abstract: An electromechanical pulse generator and a method of generating electrical pulses are disclosed. The electromechanical pulse generator comprises very few parts and includes an effective mechanism to prevent contact rebound. An upper, user-actuable and rotatable part has a surface with a plurality of projections. A lower part has an electrical conductor with a displaceable resilient contact portion biased against the projections and two electrical contacts positioned, in the plane of rotation, on either side of the displaceable contact portion.

Abstract: A combined roller and push switch assembly includes a substantially hollow wheel-like roller member being displaceable from an initial position to a displaced position. The combined roller and push switch assembly further includes a member for returning the roller member from the displaced position to the initial position, the returning member is a resilient member being at least partly encircled by the roller member, and a coding member for detecting rotation of the roller member in relation to an associated frame. In particular, the combined roller and push switch assembly further including a switch for indicating when the roller member is in the displaced position, the switch being at least partly encircled by the roller member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a digital pulse generator being adapted to be integrated in electronic equipment, such as hearing instruments, mobile phones and/or audio equipment. In particular, the present invention relates to a digital pulse generator being capable of providing an output signal on two or more terminals. The digital pulse generator according to the present invention requires a minimum of electrical components, so as to provide a cheaper and easier assembling process, and to provide a digital pulse generator that is shock resistant.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hearing aid multifunctional switch comprising a base part, an externally activable switch arm, and a first and a second set of contact surfaces disposed at a surface of said base part. The first set of contact surfaces is adjacently positioned so as to form a substantially continuous surface, whereas the second set of electrically isolated contact surfaces is adjacently positioned so as to form a substantially continuous surface. The second set of contact surfaces is oppositely arranged to said first set so that the two sets have pairs of corresponding contact surfaces. A contact member is movable between said pairs of contact surfaces for providing electrical contact between a pair of corresponding contact surfaces.
