  • Patent number: 11368923
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus includes a wireless communicator configured to perform wireless communication with another wireless communication apparatus, and a processor. The processor controls the wireless communicator to transmit to the other wireless communication apparatus prescribed information while incrementally changing transmission power by a prescribed degree until a change occurs in a signal reception state of a connection request from the other wireless communication apparatus, and starts transmission of the prescribed information to the other wireless communication apparatus during a next communication onwards at a transmission power based on a transmission power occurring when the change occurs in the signal reception state of the connection request.

  • Patent number: 11307537
Abstract: A communication system (1) comprises a central (100) and a peripheral (200). The central (100) receives location information and time information from NTP servers (10) and a location server (30). The central (100) creates first offset information of the time measured by its own device and the time information received from the NTP servers (10). The central (100) acquires from map information a time difference corresponding to a location presented by the location information received from the location server (30). The central (100) creates first updated time information based on the time measured by its own device, first offset information, and time difference corresponding to the location presented by the location information received from location server (30) and transmits the first updated time information to the peripheral (200). The peripheral (200) changes the time displayed by its own device based on the received first updated time information.

  • Patent number: 11228894
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus includes (i) a wireless communicator capable of broadcasting an extended advertising packet having a large transmittable capacity and a compatible advertising packet having a transmittable capacity smaller than the extended advertising packet, and (ii) a processor. The wireless communicator periodically broadcasts the extended advertising packet based on a command from the processor. The processor sets offset information for acquiring of a time at which the extended advertising packet is receivable in an offset notification packet that is the compatible advertising packet, and broadcasts the offset notification packet via the wireless communicator. The offset information is set based on a transmission timing of the offset notification packet and a transmission timing of the extended advertising packet.

  • Patent number: 11222332
Abstract: An electronic terminal capable of using a function of payment includes a wearing detector, a communicator, and a processor. The wearing detector detects whether the electronic terminal is worn by a user. The communicator communicates with a wireless communication apparatus via near field communication. The processor changes, based on information that is obtained by the wearing detector and the communicator, whether to enable or disable use of the function of payment.

  • Patent number: 5511435
Abstract: A battery-powered rotation detector detects passing of a rotating magnet attached to a vehicle wheel to generate and transmit a rotation signal. A receiver receives the rotation signal. A processor computes the vehicle running condition (e.g., speed, traveled distance) from the received rotation signal and displays the results on a display device. The processor monitors intervals between the rotation signals to detect when the vehicle is stopped. When the vehicle is stopped, the processor disconnects a battery power supply from components such as the display device for power savings. In addition, the processor checks the strength of the received rotation signal to determine a capacity of the battery in the rotation detector, and operatively indicates a power failure of the rotation detector.

  • Patent number: 5335664
Abstract: Biological signals detected by biological signal detecting units put on a plurality of persons to be monitored are transmitted to a plurality of wristwatches. The transmitted biological signals and ID code data corresponding to the biological signals are transmitted in the form of radio signals. A receiver unit receives the biological signals and the ID code data transmitted from the wristwatches and sends them to a monitor unit. The monitor unit displays the transmitted biological signals in a one-to-one correspondence with the ID code data, Upon detecting an abnormality in a given biological signal, the monitor unit generates an alarm sound. If a corresponding person to be monitored determines that the alarm sound is erroneously generated, he or she stops the alarm sound by manipulating a switch. If the person determines that the alarm sound is not a false alarm, his or her wristwatch transmits a contact designation signal and ID code data by a radio signal.
