  • Publication number: 20170119013
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of disposing compositions (e.g., flavor compositions) onto the surface of one or more substrates and, in particular edible substrates such as chewing gums. Also disclosed herein are substrates, such as chewing gums, onto which have been disposed the compositions and/or flavorings.

  • Publication number: 20080104847
Abstract: A safety razor and method of manufacturing a safety razor comprising molding a razor head and a razor blade in a curvilinear mold with the razor blade captured in the razor head such that both the head and blade form a single unitary body with each having a common fixed curvilinear geometry and a handle for the razor adjustably connected to the head such that the curved razor blade may be adjustably positioned relative to the handle to orient the razor blade into one of two opposite directions for use by either a right handed or left handed person.

  • Publication number: 20070256699
Abstract: A comb formed of a unitary body comprising a longitudinally extending straight section having opposite sides, a multiplicity of teeth projecting transversely from the straight section and a level detector assembly disposed in said straight section at one end of the comb for providing the user of the comb with a true indication of the vertical and horizontal position of the comb. The level detector assembly comprises two transparent members spaced apart and aligned on opposite sides of the straight section between an opening in said straight section extending between the opposite sides and a ball disposed in the opening. At least one of said transparent members includes an intersecting vertical and horizontal line on a surface thereof such that the vertical and horizontal position of the comb can be determined based upon the position of the ball relative to the position of the intersecting lines.

  • Patent number: 6788640
Abstract: This invention relates to a universal mass storage information card comprising a first data storage portion having a circular geometry in the form of a disk and a second data storage portion physically detachable from the first data storage portion with the second data storage portion defining a geometrical area disposed within the periphery of the first portion and being concentric therewith, with the first data storage portion including software to verify user identification when the two data storage portions are combined and software to read and download information contained in the second data storage portion when the two are inserted as a combined unit into a data processing machine.

  • Patent number: 5958619
Abstract: The tape cell battery system comprises an elongated strip of flexible tape divided into segmented sections of anode, cathode and fluid electrolyte. The electrolyte is stored in a separated segment sealed from the segment containing the anode and cathode. The tape is advanced through nip rolls to individually break open each sealed segment containing electrolyte such that the electrolyte is caused to flow into a single adjacent segment containing said anode and cathode such that only one battery cell at a time becomes electrochemically active while the other battery cells remain electrochemically dormant.

  • Patent number: 5536592
Abstract: The galvanic battery of the present invention supplies the anode and/or cathode from an elongated strip of flexible tape preferably interconnected through a strip of inactive material functioning as a leader for said tape and for separating the tape entering the electrochemically active compartment of the battery housing from spent tape exiting the electrochemically active compartment. The battery is preferably constructed to include a supply reel having a rotatable core upon which said strip of tape is wound in a cylindrical configuration with the inner winding of tape extending from said core and being threaded through said electrochemically active compartment before being connected back into the electrochemically inactive compartment and wound as the outer winding around the core of the supply reel.

  • Patent number: 5512384
Abstract: The battery includes an anode and cathode structure spaced a fixed distance apart, a movable conveyor having electrolyte impregnated therein and means for advancing the conveyor to engage the anode and/or cathode at the anode and/or cathode interface with electrolyte. In the preferred arrangement the moving conveyor containing the electrolyte is progressively advanced through the interface spacing between the anode and cathode while the interface spacing is maintained substantially constant even as the anode is consumed. Battery operation is terminated by separating the engaging surfaces of the anode and/or cathode from the moving conveyor and is reestablished by reengaging the anode and/or cathode surfaces with the moving conveyor.
