  • Patent number: 10681937
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices, methods of forming such devices, and elements of such devices. For example, some aerosol delivery devices of the current disclosure include a reservoir having a liquid aerosol precursor composition, an electrical heater in fluid communication with the reservoir and configured to vaporize the liquid aerosol precursor composition to form an aerosol, and a filter operatively arranged relative to the electrical heater such that at least a portion of the formed aerosol passes therethrough, the filter being configured to selectively bind one or more undesirable impurities.

Date of Patent: June 16, 2020
    Assignee: RAI Strategic Holdings, Inc.
Inventors: Andries Don Sebastian, Michael F. Davis, Sammy Eni Eni, Jannell Rowe, Tracy M. Hefner

  • Publication number: 20180362957
Abstract: Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate oxygenase (RuBisCO) protein films and a method of producing RuBisCO films are disclosed herein. A method of producing one or more RuBisCO protein films includes obtaining RubBisCO, for example from tobacco, combining the RuBisCO with one or more solvents, where the one or more solvents may be about 10% w/v the RuBisCO, mixing the RuBisCO and the one or more solvents to form a slurry, heating the slurry to about 70 degrees C., cooling the slurry to at least about 45 degrees C., dispensing the slurry into one or more molds for film formation, drying the slurry in the one more molds, and removing the one or more RuBisCO protein films formed within the one or more molds.
