  • Publication number: 20200048025
Abstract: A system for dispensing a web of two-ply laminating material includes a container in which a web of material is positioned. The web material has a first side edge along which a first ply and a second ply of the laminating material are connected. The first and second plies of the material are not connected at a second side edge of the material. An inwardly-facing surface of the first ply includes an adhesive coating. A distance between the first and second side edges defines a width of the material that is shorter than a length of the material. The opening in the container has a dimension greater than or equal to the width such that the material can be withdrawn from the container through the opening.

  • Patent number: 9669612
Abstract: A laminating sheet includes a translucent ply and an adhesive coating applied to the translucent ply. The adhesive coating is activatable by at least one of pressure and heat and is provided on the translucent ply in a configuration providing at least one form of indicia that is visible prior to the adhesive being activated. A method of manufacturing a laminating sheet is also disclosed, whereby an adhesive coating activatable by at least one of pressure and heat is applied to a translucent ply and is configured to provide at least one form of visible indicia.

  • Patent number: 7837405
Abstract: The invention includes a combination of coupling clip structure and a plurality of binding elements for binding stacks of perforated sheets for delivery to an automated machine. The combination comprises at least two binding elements, and at least one coupling clip discrete from said at least two binding elements. At least one of the coupling clip or the binding element(s) comprises at least one recess, at least a portion of at least one said binding element being disposed in said recess in the coupling clip and/or at least a portion of the coupling clip being disposed in said recess in the binding element, the coupling clip coupling the at least two binding elements together in a predetermined adjacent spatial relationship. The coupling clip may be separated from the binding elements by the automated machine. The invention further includes a method of coupling a plurality of binding elements together with at least one coupling clip for delivery to an automated machine.

  • Patent number: 6129355
Abstract: A reel assembly for a gaming machine includes a reel structure adapted for rotation about a motor output shaft. A drive lever is adapted for connecting the output shaft to the reel structure at a point radially spaced from the output shaft to provide a resilient, radially extending coupling between the output shaft and the reel structure. The drive lever is of sufficient length to allow flexing thereof and is capable of storing energy at the start of rotation to cause the reel structure to be suddenly rotated by the restored energy. The drive lever has a terminal end mounted to said reel structure in a manner that prevents tangential movement of said terminal end relative to said reel structure.

  • Patent number: 5669695
Abstract: An automotive vehicular headlamp adjustment mechanism comprises a ball rod having a ball element disposed upon a free end thereof for connection to a vehicular headlamp housing. A threaded drive rod, having oppositely disposed threaded sections formed thereon, is rotatably journalled within a bushing member which slidably supports the ball rod for slidable movement in extension and retraction directions.

  • Patent number: 5653548
Abstract: A method and apparatus for a ball and socket joint including a body member having an aperture coupled to a resilient ball container with a side wall extending from a first side of the body member to form an end portion. The side wall is disposed about at least a portion of the aperture wherein a ball disposed through the aperture is receivable in the resilient ball container. The resilient ball container has a substantially arcuate shaped inner surface portion with at least a portion of its side wall diameter being less than the diameter of the ball, wherein the bail contacts and outwardly expands the side wall of the resilient ball container and draws the end portion of the resilient ball container toward the ball as the ball is inserted into and retained in contact with the resilient ball container so as to provide a strong, durable and tight fitting joint. A resilient retaining member disposed on the first side of the body member extends into the resilient ball container so as to constrict the aperture.
