  • Publication number: 20200103104
Abstract: An elongated LED lighting fixture includes a heat sink assembly having a base and a pair of heat sinks extending from either side of the base in a direction opposite a bottom side of the base. The base and the pair of heat sinks define a slot opposite the bottom side of the base. A top cover covers the slot. A LED strip is disposed on the bottom side of the base opposite the slot. A bottom cover includes an opening between a pair of curved sides. A pair of fins is disposed between the curved sides opposite the opening and the bottom side of the base of heat sink assembly. An outline of a cross-section of the elongated LED lighting fixture defines spaced rounded sides extending between a planar top and a planar bottom. In cross-section, the LED lighting fixture has a generally or substantially oval shape.

  • Patent number: 9310037
Abstract: A lighting fixture includes a housing defining a longitudinal axis, a lamp carriage assembly disposed inside the housing and supporting one or more lamps parallel with the longitudinal axis, and a motor coupled between the housing and the lamp carriage assembly and operative for pivoting the lamp carriage assembly relative to the housing about a pivot axis of the lamp carriage assembly. A method of operating the lighting fixture includes (a) causing a lamp carriage assembly disposed inside the housing to be in a home position and outputting light in response to illumination of the one or more lamps of the lamp carriage assembly, and (b) causing the lamp carriage assembly to pivot about its pivot axis thereby redirecting where the light output by the lamp carriage assembly travels in response to the illumination of the one or more lamps of the lamp carriage assembly.

  • Patent number: 9182092
Abstract: A lighting fixture includes first and second elongated lamp carriage assembles supporting respective first and second elongated lamps and an enclosure including first and second spaced plates. The first lamp carriage assembly is fixedly coupled between the first and second plates for directing light output by the first lamp in a first direction. The second lamp carriage assembly is slidably and pivotally coupled at its ends to the first and second plates for directing light output by the second lamp in a second direction that crosses the first direction. The lighting fixture can further include a third elongated lamp carriage assembly supporting a third elongated lamp. The third lamp carriage assembly is slidably and pivotally coupled at its ends to the first and second plates for directing light output by the third lamp in a third direction that crosses the first and second directions.

  • Patent number: 6893139
Abstract: The present invention includes an adjustable lighting fixture having a housing and light holders which are able to extend, pivot, spin, and slide with respect to the housing, a mounting arm, or each other. The lighting fixture may thus provide enhanced lighting during events, such as live performances, teleconferencing, filming, or videotaping. Each adjustable lighting fixture generally includes a light holder positioned on a mounting arm pivotally or otherwise movably connected to the housing. The lighting fixture uses fluorescent light sources. When enhanced lighting is not required, the light holders may be restored in the housing in an aesthetic manner.
