  • Patent number: 9514306
Abstract: Described embodiments provide a method and user equipment for restricting transferring of image data produced by a predetermined application to a coupled external device. The method may include detecting an activation of an application in a user equipment while the user equipment is coupled to an external device and determining whether image data produced by the activated application is transferred to the coupled external device. The determining may include restricting the produced image data of the activated application from being transferred to the coupled external device when an application control type of the activated application is a restricted application, otherwise, transferring the produced image data of the activated application to the coupled external device.

  • Patent number: 8904051
Abstract: Described embodiments provide a method and user equipment for controlling a plurality of coupled external devices. The method may include determining whether one of applications installed in user equipment is activated upon receipt of a user input when the user equipment is coupled to a plurality of external devices, selecting one of the coupled external devices as a target external device to be mapped, when the application is determined as being activated, and mapping the selected coupled external device with the activated application and establishing a signal route between the user equipment and the selected coupled external device in association with the activated application.

  • Publication number: 20130326092
Abstract: The disclosure is related to processing an input event of an external device in user equipment. Coupling event data may be received from the external device coupled to the user equipment. An input event type associated with the received coupling event data may be identified. Input event data may be obtained from the received coupling event data. The obtained input event data may be processed using at least one of an input application programming interface (API) and an input sub-device driver, according to the identified input event type.

  • Publication number: 20110051719
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing company call service in wireless and wired integrated network are provided. For example, a call between an employee's wireless device and a client's device can be connected while indicating the employee's wired telephone number as a caller's telephone number. When an employee is receiving a call, one example is to call an employee's wired device first, and if there is no response, employee's wireless device may be called subsequently. In another example, employee's wired and wireless device may be called simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 6721504
Abstract: A method for requesting a grant for Medium Access Control (MAC) being applied to a Passive Optical Network (PON) system. The method includes the steps of: a) deciding a period of a mini slot (Tms), which is necessary for a plurality of Optical Network Units (ONU) to transmit upstream cells to an Optical Line Termination (OLT); b) deciding a period of a divided slot (Tds) and a link overhead (Co) based on the period of the mini slot (Tms); c) calculating a length of the mini slot based on information to be transmitted to the OLT and a protocol being used; and d) requesting a grant for a MAC protocol between the plurality of the ONUs by calculating and allocating optimal parameters based on the length of the mini slot.
