  • Publication number: 20150093114
Abstract: A WDM-PON system configured to perform an asymmetric wavelength division multiplexing and demultiplexing is proposed. A receiving end of WDM-PON system configured to receive a light transmitted from a transmission end including a first wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer includes a second wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer configured to demultiplex the light received rom the transmission end, where the second bandwidth of wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer is substantially greater than that of the first wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer.
