    Abstract: A remote radio head unit (RRU) system for achieving high data rate communications in a Distributed Antenna System is disclosed. The Distributed Antenna System is configured as a Neutral Host enabling multiple operators to exist on one DAS system. The present disclosure enables a remote radio head unit to be field reconfigurable and support multi-modulation schemes (modulation-independent), multi-carriers, multi-frequency bands and multi-channels. As a result, the remote radio head system is particularly suitable for wireless transmission systems, such as base-stations, repeaters, and indoor signal coverage systems.

    Abstract: The present disclosure carefully controls the heating duty cycle of a Lambda sensor, utilizing higher heating temperatures during lean phases, such as a fuel cutoff event or the like. Essentially, there is a calibration routine that is executed via software and allows a Lambda sensor to at least one of preserve full function over time and recover from an erroneous state. Advantageously, Lambda sensor life expectancy is increased accordingly. Optionally, the heating temperature for the Lambda sensor is selectively increased by increasing an applied voltage to the Lambda sensor.
